Best for massive SHOULDERS?

Overhead barbell and dumbell presses. Compound movements always add the most size. For side delts, try lateral raises and upright rows which will also hit the rear delts.

I have been seeing great improvements in size and strength over the last few weeks by doing strict BB military press for warmups, heavy push-presses for work sets, immediately followed by 2 sets of seated DB presses.

For me, heavy military press followed by lateral raises

I GOT IT! Arnold Presses. Nothing better. When i do these i feel it sooo much in my front and side delts its not even funny. I have to use lighter weight on laterals and upright rows after 4 heavy sets of these.

A combination of all of the above. If you neglect side raises you don't get the best results. If you neglect heavy overhead presses DB or barbell... you don't get max results. You have to do both.

I think the big mistake most people make is not hitting rear delts and buying into the myth you don't have to hit front delts a little.

My current shoulder/delt routine is:

Upright rows 5X5
Shrugs 2X10
Seated halo side raises 5X5 w/regular sides (pronated) after I hit failure)
Machine military press 2X6 super setted w/
Front raises 2X8-10
Rear delt raises 3X8-10
