Best day to do shoulders?

Hi Al,

What day would you recommend me to do shoulders. Should I do Tri and shoulders together and Chest on a seperate day, or should I do chest and tris together and bis and shoulders two days later?

Concerned that because you use alot of the same muscles doing chest/tri/shoulders that I'm not giving myself sufficient time to recover

I do chest, back, shoulders, and legs days. If back follows chest my chest day will include incline bench (to keep my back fresh). If shoulders follows chest I will include decline bench (to keep my shoulders fresh).

flat bench and shoulders don't reall conflict for me unless I'm doing incline presses on chest day.

Here's my rotation, I find it to be ample amount of time for recover of every muscle group..

Monday - Chest/ Light Tricepts (usually cable)
Tuesday - Back/ Biceps (Usually cable)
Wendsday - Shoudlers/ Various lagging muscles
Thursday - Arms Heavy all free weights
Friday - Legs
Saturday - Cardio
Sunday - Off

I find this to work well.. Incline bench and Dips work my shoulders pretty well so I try to split up chest and shoulders by a day..

Enjoy...

I do shoulders alone. I have to hit a bunch of angles to get any growth out of my shoulders so it seems like the only way for me.

i work shoulders twice a week sort of... i do some overhead presses on my chest day, and then i do upright rows and rear delts on my back day

I do shoulders and tris on the same day. There both small body parts and dont need a lot of volume so they fit well together.
