Prada and Burberry. I can't tell you how many times random women approach me just to smell me.
calvin kline eternity has this effect for me :p  :artist:

Bareware of buying online as there are a lot of fakes right down to the tags. You will get something that smells similar but it will last about 20 mins. Very high Alcohol

Sumone lock this thread already, it's been going since like 1812 and every single cologne in the universe has already been mentioned 10 times!

Feminist sweat has yet to be mentioned as a choice for the pencil neck trying to smell tougher than he is.

yeh u rite! one of the many things about Calvin Kline Eternity i like is it's longevitity. i've had peeps nuzzle my pec valley 18 hours after spritzing CK there and sigh in appreciation. :p :artist:

Abercrombie & Fitch - Fierce (cherry popping juice. women will nicely ask to blow you)
Clinique Happy For Men (Very summery scent)
Azzaro - Chrome (Just purchased, loving it already)
Vera Wang for Men (Excellent for work, formal nights out)

Issey Miyake

^^^ Hands down THE best cologne I have ever smelled....and this is from a self proclaimed fan of Aqua

su-prisingly, i get positive comments from old school english leather....just can't over do that cheap stuff. one spritz in the hair b/t the pecs is more than enough.

really? I always thought it smelled of cheap bargain store stuff. I was not impressed with it, especially the price for such a shitty smelling scent.

it has that hint of urine.

EZRA FITCH by Abercrombie & Fitch. Kinda smells like AF but has a more mature masculine woods smell. I've always had compliments on it..

acqua di gio , that s a no brainer. i have been laid many times just because of the gio. well that and my extremely good looks. lol. chick s realy did the gio. realy realy dig it

Savoy Moi by Fragonard, almost impossible to find in the states, so you smell different than everyone. Everyone comments on how great it smells.

I wear Hugo Energise. No kidding, no matter where I go a girl will always say what is that smell, it smells so good. I'll say it is me and she always asks what it is and if she can smell me again. It is pretty funny, I love it though, great thing to get the ladies. :supercool

Just a fact...the same cologne, lets say Aqua Di Gio, wouldnt smell the same on two different people. You gotta find your own niche...I get great reviews on Aqua Di Gio but Kenneth Cole for example doesnt smell too good on me as opposed to others...

Good point bro.

Issey Miyake, Salvatore Ferragamo, YSL and Hanae Mori...a very sophisticated smell, definately gets my attention ... :)

i tried some dolce-gabanna...a good alternative to my favored Calvin Kline Eternity.

Cologne is a big hobby of mine and I am constantly sampling and buying. Here is my top 10 list:

1) Millesime Imperial by Creed - Its sad this has got the fewest votes in this poll, but thats only because so few people know of it and because of its high price. In a blind smell-off bewteen all men's colognes using both men and women as test smellers, I guarantee you MI would win. You can find it at Saks or Nieman Marcus if you want to test it on your skin.

2) Bvlgari Black

3) Gucci Envy

4) Green Irish Tweed by Creed

5) Dolce and Gabbana

6) Issey Miyake L'eau d'Issey pour Homme

7) Thierry Mugler's A*Men / Angel Men

8) Terre D'Hermes by Hermès

9) Burberry London

10) Acqua di Gio (or Acqua di Conformity) It has to be on my list due to its overwhelming popularity- and it is for sure a great smell. But it is so way too popular it isnt funny, and isnt a good choice for someone looking to be a little more unique.

I just tried Kenneth Cole Reacion.
Nice clean citrus smell, great for going places where theres a lot of people.

got some dolce and gabbana.....smells ok for a change but i will still stay loyal to my calvine kline eternity. it's my "Signature Smell". :artist: :p

These are the tops in my collection:

1) Egotiste Platinum (called by a few women "orgasm in a bottle."
2) PI
3) Aqua Di Gio
4) Cool Water

I once went home with someone because of PI

there is a serious drool inducing note in that one. ROFL.

Polo and Aqua Di Gio are nice.... but everyone wears them..... I like when a guy wears a unique cologne, and I associate it only with him.

My boyfriend wears Amouage Dia Pour Homme. That is a certifiable panty creamer. lol And not many people in the US wear it. So yummy!

Issey Miyaki

Not all scents will work on all people, it does depend on your own phermones and biochemistry.

I would suggest trying some in a shop or getting a tester.

It also takes some time for a fragrance to 'settle' so the immediate scent may not be how it smells in an hour.

A few that I really like

comme de garcons (that square bottle with the scratches on it, forget the name)

Hermes, Cartier and Lalique also make great scents.

I wear some men's fragrances, they can work on women, and some women's scents can work on men.

Two of my favs are Paul Smith London (for men) and Burberry Brit Red/Burberry Brit, both for men.

If you are on a budget, Diesel Masculine or the new one are quite yummy.

This one CUTE ass girl I work with always sports the A&F fierce.
It's alright... BUT ON HER its SUPER BOMB...
yum yum lol

My girl is a make up artist at MAC and she is always coming home with differant kinds from work.....she turned me on to Issey Miyaki and D&G

Creed colognes are very good, as are Bond no. 9 colognes. I'd recommend Millesime Imperial by Creed, Green Irish Tweed by Creed, and New Haarlem by Bond No. 9

Emporio Armani White (Red Edition) It's very soft and light. Very good cologne without choking on the heaviness of most colognes. It wears out fast though. Might be a good day cologne and an evening cologne especially early evening.

Due to a rec earlier in this thread I ordered a bottle of Milleme Imperial and HOLY SHIT is that shit magic in a bottle or what!! It's got that "Im important" smell all over it

I'm glad you like the Millesime Imperial, its one of those colognes that ladies love. I thought I should also recommend Body Kouros by YSL. It got me a few compliments yesterday from girls on campus. I'm 21 so that's an idea of what age group its more suited towards.

PACO RABANNE - Millionaire

Apparently, it's a "Limited Edition" run.

The packaging looks equally impressive sitting on your bathroom shelf... like a solid gold bar!

Millesime Imperial by Creed is awesome, my fave at the moment by far, you really can smell the quality in Creed fragrances!!

Honestly, ive been stopped at least 15-20 times in the past few months from wearing abercrombie cologne. I hate there clothes, but the scent is a lady charmer.

versace in the blue bottle. never gotten more compliments on cologne in my life. i literally had sex with a girl just because i told her i like lady gaga and she said my cologne smelled so good. we got home and she used the bathroom and i sprayed cologne on my bed haha. bitch was like OH MY GOD YOUR BEDS SMELLS LIKE YOU TOO!!!

I just spent over $500 on colognes that many recommended here and I am not very impressed with the scents. Most are very sweet in smell and others heavy. So I gave the colognes to my boys (more fitting it seems as I do not like a man with those fragrances) and purchased my favorite for him BULGARI pour homme Extreme. It is light, smells incredible yet not overwhelming. Any man with this on gets my attention. Found this gem in San Francisco years ago and to this day is still, in my opinion, the best scent on a man...plus they do not smell like every other guy out there in a club. What men need to realize that a cologne is supposed to be very very light and not made to smell at 30 feet but close up at less than a foot. Strong scents to me is a turn off and reminds me of Europe where it is worn heavily to overcome hygiene.

Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male was my biggest disappointment of all acquired...very fruity, not masculine nor enticing to me.
