i got the htc touch pro..

the blackberry curve is pretty good.. thats what my girlfriend got

hte new one is the blackberry tour (i believe) its like 3bills at verizon with a 2yr contract. i just dont want to overpay if its really not that great

i know a couple of people who have the tour and are really happy with it, a couple moved from the storm to it and say it is much better.

If you're with CDMA, the Tour is the best phone you can get. That said, I gave up CDMA and moved to GSM to pickup the iPhone. I figure that if I don't like it, I can always move to the Tour (it has dual communication methods) or the HTC Hero.

I've been using a BB 8330 and some peeps in the office are on the Storm. Function wise the 8330 seems to work better but they seem to spend lots of time screwing off on theirs. The storm eats memory. One guy said he wishes he had the curve back, another says he loves the storm. guess it just depends.

i think that bb's quality has gone down hill significantly in the last couple of years. . .i've gone through 2 curves. . .they keep dying on me (coffee dousing incident aside). . .and, even when it is "working", it crashes a lot and i have to pull the battery at least once a week because it starts losing functions after a few days. . .volume control, camera zoom, ringer, vibrate, etc, etc. . .will fail after a while. . .and it's not always the same function or functions that fails. . .total pos imho :whatever:

I just picked up the Curve 8520 on Friday and don't know how I made it this far w/o having a Blackberry. Downside: I ended up getting more work done over the weekend than I wanted to, so I'm less relaxed coming into the new week.

agreed!! regardless of what i said above. . .i'm totally addicted. . .since i've had the ability to surf, e-mail, etc. in the palm of my hand, i have changed. . .and i can't imagine living without the damn thing. . .i dumped coffee on mine a few weeks back and had to live without it for a day-and-a-half, until fed-ex delivered my new one (i live in the sticks). . .longest day-and-a-half of my life. . .even longer than the two days that my wife was in chemically-induced labor with our twins (i wish i was kidding. . .i'm not) :worried:
