I am not a big fan of beer (never really was) but I REALLY HATE GUINESS! BLECH!!!

Something interesting though. The French drink something called Panache. What it is is some sweet flavored syrup at the bottom of the glass then pour a lager. Very odd.

The other was a snakebite. Sweet syrup (I forget the exact name but only recognize the pic on the label, I think it is currant liquer), half lager and half cider mixture.

I don't see how anyone could drink guinness or even beamish. EEEeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwww.

Why is it that every one of your responses is about the french and what they like and how they do things?!

I made two references (out of the GOBS of recent posts so I think that your statement is hardly accurate) to French. Oddly enough both had to do with alcohol. You think it might have something to do with the fact that I was tending bar in Paris for the past 6 months?
