best all in one supplement

My 15 yr old son is weightlifting. He has used whey protien, muscle milk, phosphagen HP and animal pack vitamins. ALthough these are expensive he has made good progress for a beginner. Is there any all in one supplement that he could use during the school year. School officials frown on him taking multiple vitamins and drinking protien shakes in the hall between classes. They are checking his shaker cup for alcohol etc. Thanks for your help, Mike

I stick to what he is using, maybe mix a creatine ester into the protein shake but other than that let them sniff his drink and laugh it off. If they start sniffing his protein drink then point out that they should start sniffing any student drinking a soda b/c they could be really drinking jack/coke or something like that.

-It did happen at my high school where students did bring alcohol to school in water bottles to drink during class. ONly the stupid students though b/c it was easy to detect.

Well you mention these are expensive and I'm sure you or your son won't mind having reserve cash. The good news is you can purchase the same ingredients cheaper.

I would replace the animal pak w/ a multivitamin, that's all it is basically. They've included a bunch of amino acids, ginseng, and other stuff. Since he's already taking in enough protein the amino's aren't needed, the ginseng you can buy individually for lower cost, and the other stuff is filler to increase price.

Phosphagen HP is pretty much sugar powder wrapped in slick marketing. This could be replaced w/plain creatine monohydrate powder. Save some change and add the sugar yourself.

Muscle milk is a good tasting protein powder, but I think he could get one w/ comparable taste for lower price. Also the fat and sugar content is a bit high. I used to order protein direct from protein factory back in the day. I'm not sure how much their prices have gone up but they were cheap per lb compared to the GNC or Vitamin World next door. Also you could customize the flavors and type of protein in whatever ratios. I liked their milk isolate, although it was a pain to mix by spoon. Optimum nutrition was also a brand I used quite often, they were pretty good.

Switch the phosphagen to cee (bulk is cheap) the muscle milk, to ON 100% whey and the animal pak to a good multi i.e. optimen (on), mega-men (gnc).
