Just really finding out about bench shirts and how they work. Just need to know if you are suppossed to train in a bench shirt or if it's just for the day of a meet? If it's for the day of a meet, how do you know what to open up with?
I generally recommend using it 3-4 weeks out from a meet. If it's brand new to you, definately practice in it often to get a feel for it. I wouldn't advise using it only on the day of the meet.
I will have used my shirt every week for about 12 weeks this last training cycle. I did the same in my last training cycle. The only time I didn't use my shirt was on days I was feeling beat all to hell and couldn't bench anyway. When I don't have a meet within 12 weeks I'll train without my shirt. I've been having good sucess with my bench doing this.
