well you triceps seem like they are strong as hell....275 x 5 on close grip is pretty strong, maybe some floor presses thrown in for a couple of weeks would do you some good...

btw what happened to the hamstring? I must have missed your post....I have some pretty good hamstring rehab if you are interested, I have pulled both of mine this year....lol

with a black and blue hamstring though:(

When did it turn black and blue???

i just noticed a very large bruise on my knee/upper calf and a small bruise at the top. i noticed this yesterday.

lion
i pulled/strained it friday while sprinting with bfold, cheese and nefi. i have been e-stimining/light stretching/ar ham curls with mini bands daily.
i did floor presses as an assistance movement last week and may do them next week depending on where i train.

ok, with hamstring pulls YOU DO NOT WANT TO STRETCH....a pull/strain is just a slight tear in the muscle, stretching actually makes it worse and pretty much completely stalls the healing process. The ar is ok as long as the hamstring is not being stretched, idealy you want to get blood to the muscle with minimal actual work done my that muscle....electric stim is helpful in this type of injury. Where does it hurt, how did it happen exactly??

edited to fix retarded spelling:freak:

nice work, damn your tris are real strong, good job, try to keep the hamstring warm and covered to increase circulation

it hurts right where the ham ties into the glute, it feels better every day. any other recommendations? thanx for the reply

try not to take anti inflamitories if you can help it....heat is a good idea as LS mentioned. If you have access ice, stim and ultra sound to increase circulation and break up scar tissue. Massage will help too, you could ask clint to rub your ass....in the name of therapy of course....;)

lol, Clint woul most likely do if you told it was for grip work, then again would you want a big burly strong man rubbing your ass, j/k hahaha

At what point did I get brought into this??? lol

Is the bruise a large one or small? Strange that it took nearly a week for the bruise to show...

I think IronLion suggested you rub my hamstring. Bruise is rather large right at back of knee and a small one at the top. I noticed it wednesday, but really had not looked at it in a couple days. I agree, it is strange. I still can't do much of anything with it.

Shane,
Since when have you thought anything went too far? By the way, nice work on bench.

this thread is going too far, wait till cuthbert gets ahold of this:)

Doesn't this belong on the 'Elite Between the Sheets' board???

Getting his ass rubbed... we don't call Brian 'Shanus' for nothing
