omar said:plifter, u know easily God can take all of Your stuff away? In a second. Be humble, and fear Him.
omar said:I believe when there is a hardship, instead of seeing it as a hardship, see it as God testing your faith. If He takes your air away from u and u are patient, and beleive in Him, then surely u will be rewarded. Atleast this is how I beleive it.

All my friends will be in hell and I may as well join them----Because I would rather be there then with these fucking bible bangers.

True, I'm not the most righteous of people, but do you have any sort of concept what hell is like, Wombat? See I think this happens all too often. People joke about hell like it's the lesser of two eternal hotels or something. "The one without the bay view" Acting as if going there is no big deal. It is a big deal and one day you'll realize. I just hope you all realize and set yourselves right with God before you pass.
Hell is:
ETERNAL PAIN AND SUFFERING - Meaning that there is no break from it, no end to look forward to... and even if all your friends are there... I doubt you'll even get to see them let alone talk to them.
TORTURE, IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD - There is NO joy down there. There is NO peace. Only endless pain and unrest.
Also:
- I hear that the souls bannished to Hell can see the souls in Heaven and watch them as they go about their care-free afterlives.
- I also hear that if you die with a problem like alcoholism, or heroin, or coke or whatever... that you can never escape that. It stays with you throughout eternity.
Food for thought.

this might be the most ignorant thing i've ever read. you don't believe in anything? how about yourself? or the thought that people are commonly good? or commonly bad? You don't believe that there is a purpose to life? what drives you? it's okay not to believe in god, but you have to believe in something. And you should not put something down just because you don't understand it. i'm sorry you don't understand religion, i guess i am lucky because i do.

A strong Christian is never "content". There is always room for improvement in our relationship with God.
This one isn't directed at you, minion, but rather for the people who scream "Bible thumper!" and degrade the intellect of people who are actively involved with their religion. There is no proof to those who have never opened their eyes. I am neither here nor there on your decision NOT to believe, and you should be likewise and respect anyone's difference of view. It is your choice, and yours alone... just as it is my choice to walk with Jah.
Religion is not a crutch. Religion is a ladder. Religion has given me the confidence and sense of self worth to go from average, to far ... FAR beyond average, in my physical, emotional, and spiritual aspect.
What you say is what you say.
What he does in one instant is more than you'll ever say for the rest of your existance.

I run into 10 times more anti-God/anti-Chrisitanity people on this board than I do faithful people. This type of response both astounds and pleasantly surprises me.

Never has there been one shred of proof. NEVER.
However, my son just have faith.... bull....
Religion is used as a crutch, excuse. Dont believe me? one word Bin laden,Pat Robertson,Jim Baker. shall I go continue..

True true true... People disregard God and all things Christian, because it would inconvenience their current way of life. Instead, they are content to live a life of filth, greed, and ultimately... self destruction. I am in no way trying to press religion upon anyone here. That's your choice, and your's alone. I cannot solve your problems, only you can.
If you learn of religion and choose not to accept/follow it, then that is your choice, and your price to pay.
Oh, and Womat - First off, I highly doubt the souls in Heaven would be able to see the souls in Hell... suffering as they do. God would just not subject His followers to that. And there would be no attempt to overturn Him or His powers. Ya see... somebody's already tried that... Lucifer. And look where he's been for the last Milennium!

You're so right. But I can forgive her, despite the amount of grief it caused me. It's hard to fall in love with somebody, and then have them so easily abandon you. The feeling of betrayal sometimes is almost unbearable, but you learn to grasp at your strength and move on... though I haven't quite completely recovered from it.
I'd even go so far as to thank her, like I said before. She was partially responsible for making me the man I am today.
Revenant said:J(a/e)hovah is God.
Jehovah - the personal name of the only true God. His own self-designation. Jehovah is the Creator and, rightfully, the Sovereign Ruler of the universe. "Jehovah" is translated from the Hebrew Tetragrammaton.
In all religions with reference to him, Jah is one and the same as Jehovah.

68GT350 said:I pose this one question...if god exists, how can there be so many different and totally opposite interpretations of him or them? Who's religion is wrong? Who's is right? The fact is, they are all wrong. God doesn't exist.
Wombat said:
Well I'm glad you think that but a lot of people don't feel the same way. And my statment was geared for those types of people. Look, no one knows if there is a god or not ---All I was trying to say is if someone is a good person, treats people the way that he wants to be treated, how could any god not bring him in. Regardless if he worshipped him or not! These are the types of people that you would think that someone who is all about love would want regardless----Whats wrong with a person who is good that when he dies and comes before god---He tells god WOW, you do exist, I was a very stubborn person who just needed phyiscal proof----Hope you forgive me and understand! How could he not take a person like that in. Some of the people on this thread say that unless you worship him, you will not get in. Makes no sense. Unless like I said god really is that insecure!
68GT350 said:
Your views are flawed. By what standards do you consider yourself good? For example, what guidelines do I live by that make me a "good person". You see???!!! "Good" is all a matter of interpretation...What is good to you may not be good to others. Who are you to say that you don't have to worship the son of god jesus christ or follow the views of the Torah? What makes you so riteous? You see....There is no god because there are so many different religions! How does one know the "correct" path.
Wombat said:
I'm not saying that I personally follow this-I'm not stating that I'm good--but I get what your saying---You say god doesn't exist---I'm not disagreeing with you or agreeing. I'm just questioning certain religions that say one must live a certain way. Your right, what way would be right! We can find flaws in everything regarding religion...I think if you go down the line in every religion, one would find the same result.
