Being on time

Look. It's bad enough that I had to be the one to coordinate the staff meeting, but I did so b/c someone needs to take charge. OK. Well why is a 10:00 meeting still not in process and it is now past 10:30? Why do I have to go round people up from other floors? Why did my boss call to say she "forgot"? and will be here in 10 min?

I absolutely hate it when people are not on time.

When you're not on time, it f**ks up the whole routine for the day and it f**ks up my whole attitude towards you for the day.

I always make it a point to arrive 10-15 minutes early so I can get briefed or read up on what's going on.

When I conduct meetings that ahve been planned ahead, I send out reminders a few days before and the day right before the meeting so people don't have the "I forgot" excuse. Give it a try.

at 1030 when no one had showed up, you should've "forgotten" about the meeting as well and hit the gym.

If it is important and a set time I am 5-10min. early. If it is a casual meeting like friends at a bar or something I strive to be there by the appointed time but no more than five minutes late.

LOL... I never try to round anyone up for any meetings. They either show or they don't.

If they report to me, it's their ass. I report them to their boss if they don't show.
