Beginner Question

Ok right now my routine is 4 days of working out, then 2 days of rest then repeat. I am on a protein supplement now, and goin to be starting creatine next week. My question is should i be taking the protein and creatine on both my rest days? thanx
 
protein yes take that every day 1g per pound of body wieght..... But the creatine well that depends on what kind of creatine you are taking if its the good shit like the serum you only have 2 take it on the days you lift .If it is the powder/pills/bullshit then you have 2 take it on non training days .

Thats funny! Creatine serum is shit! Independant lab tests showed that the serum had 4 grams in the entire bottle, the rest converted to creatinine. If you want the benifits of a solid diet and creatine supplementation, you must take it on a regular basis. Your body is repairing on off days, so give your body want it wants to repair. I also like glutamine, it helps me recover faster.
 
Waterboy not to bash ya but Creatine Serum is crap and yes there are plenty of "real" test to show that you are better off using bottled water.

Yes protien and creatine every day a few times a day!
 
Protein is a MUST when working out take at least 2 shakes a day everyday religiously 1g/body weight. I usually take my creatine right before I work out on the days I work out, but that serum shit sucks, phosphagen works good for me and keeps me bloated looking specially when I'm on the juice......
 
I think you have enough suggestions on your supplements. Have you thought about splitting your rest days so that you don't have the two in a row all the time?
 
My recommendation

Take 3 penis injections daily theres enough protein in those to last a week..Find a good source and make sure he's cute.:D Save your money and your kidney by taking Primobolan 200mg a week it's a hell of a lot safer and 100% more effective for about the same amount of money.:eek:
 
Take the protien every day, including off days! This goes for the creatine too! I find EAS Phosphagen-HP works, especially when coming off a cycle:D

FOR THE AUSSIES

I use AUSSIE BODIES creatine monohydrate which is super pure and resonably priced.

I also did a bit of research into the best ways to get the most out of it and was surprised that most people waste their creatine purely by the way they take it.

I found that it required a transport medium for absorption and one of the 'best' and readily available was GLUCODIN - powdered glucose which you can by from your supermarket.

I was advise that a 3:1 (glucodin:creatine) ratio should be used and that it should be taken at least 45 minute before your workout (and on off days). I found that by doing this I was psychologically pumped by the time I started my workout.

It was a strange feeling - almost like being on an :) but without smacky effect.

Just my experience.....

My experience has been it is best to maintain creatine and protien consistently. In other words the same amount on you rest days as your gym days.
 
Hmmm.....I guess that discredits the serum a little.

Better off with the monohydrate guys, but whever you do, don't spend big bucks on a creatine powder with the absorption/transport medium already added - its not worth the expense.

Get the pure monohydrate and try my suggestion above - I sure you will be pleased with the results.

Just out of curiosity, what doses are you guys using?

I tried a 20g loading week followed by two 10g maintenance weeks and blew myself away. I wouldn't have wanted to do any more, but at the same time, wouldn't do anything less!
