I look fat there, but that always happens in the eve.

cold measurements:
bis: 16" (sucks, these were 17" about a month ago... fucking site injections I guess - also this new workout doesn't seem to work my tris enough, they are def way smaller... :()
calves: left 17", right 16 1/2"
quads:left 23 1/4", right 23" (yeah yeah, pussy quads - I'm getting back into it - this is where I'll see the biggest gains since these were much larger before my ex decided that I was too big)
waist: 32"
chest: 44 1/2"

I'm totally clean now for a month, and will stay clean for another month.

My goal while on the "Booty For Life" program from Cornholio is to continue to pack as much muscle as I can on this tiny lil frame of mine and have glutes reminiscent of bowling balls.

B) not sure how you are bigger - if by weight than yes - that's true. but if you mean I'm an inch taller than you and have bigger arms - then that is also correct.

seems to just above the chest - 3"-6" range. if I can get it through there, then it shoots up. and anyway can get it off the chest to 3"...

also, I suspect that I don't grip out wide enough since I can do nearly the same weight on close grip bench.

my tris are strong, and my chest is weaker than frorider's jokes.

There's about 100 pound difference between my close grip and regular bench.

Yep. Slide your grip out slightly. We are about the same height. I bench with my index finger on the rings of the bar. That will get a better push off the chest and carry it until your stong tris can lock out. Try it next time.

The other possible solution is to do only incline bench for the duration of the program. That's a trick I use to break out of a weight plateau.

and cornholio - I put the tip of my thumbs on the ring to line up and then tuck in, so my index fingers are at least an inch or two away from the rings - if I put them in closer, then it gets easier when the tris take over - but it is still hard at the bottom.
and I suck even more at the incline - so perhaps that is a good call. for awhile I was doing the same weight on incline as I was flat - but then got away from doing it and then when I went back it was a joke how bad I was.

all my lifts are going up pretty steadily and nice increments each week - but the bench has stayed the exact same for 3 times now.

makes me swear like Sumir in Office Space.

The wider grip on flat bench will activate the pecs more (which are stronger than the delts and triceps). Be sure to push your shoulder blades back into the bench and then roll them down. This will put your torso into a natural arch and "pre"-activate the pecs.


If you want to do inclines, same strategy. Wider grip than flat bench for the same reasons.

Since technique is good - then it is simply a slight strength imbalance between muscle groups. Go with the inclines as that will strengthen anterior delts as well as rotator cuffs.

If that doesn't work(but it will).....pussy it is :)
 
okay - I'll switch to inclines. my workout partner is gonna throw a hissy fit. that's what he's good at - and that's about it. complaining all the time that fucker.

my rotator cuffs are actually pretty good - I stretch and use weights on them a little bit most every day - I had some issues with them a year or so ago and started doing exercises for them and (knock on wood) never had probs since.

The day I started the program, I was 207. In the pictures, I was 212. Hopefully, by the end of the week, I'll be 218. (some credit has to go to the creatine, which I started monday)

The pic on the left was taken yesterday and the pic on the right was taken 2/10/01, or about 1 month after I started back hitting the weights.

Current stats:
6'0" 200

Stats then:
180

I don't have any bf measurements, but I need to get that done.

Here's my before and after. This took me 2 1/2 years. The before pic was my new employee picture which remained on the company bulletin board. This was my single most motivating force - seeing my fat ass on the bulletin board every day and knowing that it was there for others to see too. The after pic was taken a few weeks ago - I am a little leaner now. Comments?

Before and After - Natty May-Sept

Thought I'd just post a picture of my progress from May to the End of August start of September 2002 all natty!!

Not much progress since then, have sort of plateau'd, have got a little leaner and put a bit more on my arms since then but otherwise my progress has been dissapointing from September to now.

Going to get my back waxed on Sunday, then might look at doing the Abs. F#$CK!!!!

i was on a keto diet for about the last four weeks and just a low carb diet on the previous weeks. i did eat the occasional cheat foods though. the supps i used were clen, t3, nyc and enanthate. i think its the t3 that did the trick for me. three weeks after i stopped the cycle, i checked my TSH levels and they were back up to normal
