Greatest drinking themed movie of all time. After seeing it I felt compelled to start drinking. Can't wait for the DVD, that way I can get motivated for drinking whenever the need arises.

Lot's of obscure movie references to Das Boot, and some other older movies.

Plus the US drinking team is based in Colorado in the movie, nothing beats high altitude training.

I must say I was surprisingly impressed by this movie. It has a special appeal to me as a college student in a school known for extreme drinking. I wanted more of the Irish team in the movie though. Gunter was looking in good shape, as was Ralph for an old guy. I think I will see it again before dvd.
 
yes, it was a great movie. It would be hard to pull off a good movie just on the drinking beer concept, but Broken Lizard pulled it off.
I started one of these threads here about a week ago or so and had no replies

I bet Gunter had fun, he seems like he has a great sense of humor in talking with him. I was also impressed that there was humor on more than a "fart joke" level. I'll probably go see it at least once more before it's out of theaters.

I remember seeing that, but hadn't seen the movie yet.

String- oh hell yeah go see it and be prepared for an uncontrollable urge to drink beer afterwards.

I want to get one of those glass boots that they drank out of. I have a couple of Beersteins from Germany, but no overside glass boot
 
what's that challenge in there, I heard it on the radio

take a hit, slam a beer, do a shot, then exhale? something like that?

I too am on the lookout for Das Boot. That was the first thing I said to my bro when we left the theater "we need a couple of those boots"

Yep big bong rip, then chug a mug, then take a shot before exhaling. Called the strike out I think.

I can't wait to see this movie... it looks very entertaining!

I think I should wear my drinkin' shoes to this movie in preparation of going out to kill a keg after :beer:

Yeah pretty sure they do, there were a couple of gay guys who were regulars when I was a bartender and they both liked beer.

Besides studz and cosmos doesn't really flow too well.

Sweet I have to order a couple of those.

Did you notice it was the same guy who was driving the porsche in Super Troopers? I just hope my new kilt is here by halloween so I can wear it with my Scottish drinking team shirt.
