I am predisposed to being a fat-ass, but realized this early on in life and changed my lifestyle in high school. I eat low-carb with periodic carb-ups/refeeds/cheat days to facilitate my lifting and keep my leptin levels from plummeting.
Though I have succeeded for some time now and concretized a disciplined lifestyle, I can never shake the feeling that one day I may fall off the wagon because I feel as though everyone else fails- why should I succeed? Granted, not everybody has the info (low carb, lifting, etc) or the drive, but nonetheless, why should I be able to go from chubby to lean w hileeverybody else has such issues?
Anyway, this all struck me at the gym tonight as I was doing cardio, and basically I want to hear some other success stories, ie people who totally revamped their eating habits and have adopted a lean lifestyle, and more importantly have maintained and kept working towards a goal. If there are others out there, I will be more confident in maintaining what I have worked so hard for.
Thanks.
