Beating lie detector tests

nycdiesel

New member
i was wondering if theres anything u can take that would help aid u to pass a lie detector test? i was thinking coreg possibly

They will suspect something if you go in there on something - the chart will look weird when they are establishing baseline parameters. Then they will ask for a urine sample and if you decline - failed.

Just tell the truth.

There are ways to beat it. Mainly its a matter of training what type i do not know. My boy left for special forces in 03' Ive seen him but a couple of times since then. and I know he went through some training to beat a lie detector test. Im pretty sure its phsycological but I wouldnt want to go through whatever it is he did. :king:

If you can control your heart rate, electrical impulses (reactionary), breathing rate, and can basically think about nothing wrong you have ever done.

Then sure its easy to beat.

Other wise, just tell the truth.

Putting a tack in our shoe and then pricking your toe at random times fucks up the score. Not sure how completely true that is, but it's what I have heard.

I think the idea is to attempt to simulate an untruthful respose to a true questions by pricking yourself, so that your actual deception response will appear normal. == dont know if this actually works or not but I think thats the theory

Yup. I guess the bottom-up response of your nerves in reaction to the point of the needle some how correlates to the top-down message of a lie.

So when the machine says that you lied about your skin color and name when it is obvious that you didn't, then they don't have a baseline to judge you on.

Fully agreed.
From what I have heard the lie detector test detects changes in your heart rythmn and in your breathing rate..It takes a lot to be able to pass a lie detector test.

I ve taken 4 of them for diffrent jobs the best way is control your breathing and dont be nervous..but telling the truth is best

I read a book by a CIA operative who said he would take speed to beat the black box.
I've also heard Icy Hot applied in the armpits will work.
If I had to take a lie detector test I'd probably take 2 ephedrine and try the Icy Hot trick.

Seriously how in the hell is icy hot in the armpits supposed to work?!?

Either dont apply for the job or dont lie.

A thing to remember about lie detector tests is that they cannot 'detect' lies.

They can only detect the physiological reponses caused by fear/nervousness - which in turn can be caused by lying, but not necessarily.

These responses can also bring about false positives, such as fear of not being believed when answering questions such as "Have you ever stolen from your workplace?" "Have you ever cheated on your wife?" "Have you ever visited a porn site?", etc.

Lie detectors are therefore very unreliable, no matter how accurate their proponents make them out to be.

Lie detecter tests can only work with yes and no questions. They measure your breathing rate, sweat production and maybe some other physiological variables.

At the beginning of the test a calibration is required. So they ask you dumb questions that are obviously true or false. They will ask that you answer falsely to one question as a baseline. This is where the tack idea comes in. If you use the tack during the true calibration and stop during the false calibration then it may be difficult to tell a lie from a truth.

However, if the investigator believes that you are "throwing" the test then you will be asked to remove your shoes. These people have seen it all.

Not a problem check out antipolygraph.org explains it all. My friend has real life experience using the methods in the book download. :theshadow

OK...the polygraph is all in the pre-interview. The examiner gets you wound tight about relevant questions and then the examination begins. To make a long story short...there are 3 types of findings:

1. Fail
2. Pass
3. Inconclusive.

Its all based on a point scoring system (I know one of the US Army's 14 Polygraphers) and it CANNOT be beat. All you can do is make it inconclusive. Which really doesn't do you any good in any case.

This is the best way. Do some research and you will see more people that DO NOT lie fail polygraph tests. Polygraph tests are bunk and should be illegal.

I have taken several over the years and passed ones when i lied and failed others when I told the truth. Do the research and you will understand what i am saying.

tell them that the moon is really made of cheese and water is wine. Lie detector tests are not supposed to admissable in a court of law as factual evidence and if that is the case it should not be admissable anywhere else.

Every method has been tried, posted on the internet, and NEVER works.

If you really want to - go hire a lie detector guy. Pay the $50 or so.

Tell him you're doing some research on the technology and want to see if you can beat it. Then try it out.

You'll find, even w/o sweating, you won't beat the machine.

And if you get too many inconclusives - they may still fail you.

Best bet: Bring more to the table, so the lie detector results are meaningless. Ex: I have a degree, spent 2 years in Africa with the poor, raised my ailing grandmother, know 3 languages and always taken care of my finances.

That trumps - I shoplifted 7 years ago.

What they want is HONESTY.... Having a bad past is nothing big if you're just open about, show you learned from it, and bring more to the table. I'll take the ex-felon who now mentors kids in his poor neighborhood, and campaigns for non-violence -- over the perfect guy who spent 5 years working at kinkos, playing warcraft at home and never got into trouble once. I know nothing about him.
