bbq pork on ckd?

Of course no sauce, but would bbq pork fit the bill on a ckd diet? It seems like it would. From a restaurant. High in fat, protein, pure meat.

I dont see why BBQ pork would be a problem. Even with a small amount of sauce it'd probably be ok, since BBQ Sauce only has a small amount of carbs (not sure but I think its under 5g per serving)

BBQ sauce is loaded with sugar. Ever read the label on it? Don't :)

But ya ribs minus sauce (although boring) would work ok.

Yeah, 5g per serving... which is a tablespoon, usually. BBQ sauce is loaded with sugar, unfortunately.

Would coupling the bbq sauce with the ribs (high protein, high fat) help minimize the insulin spike from the sugar?
