BB rows

Dorian popularized doin em standing a little more up right than parallel....almost 45 degrees, with a shoulder width palm up grip. You gonna argue with his back development? I love this method. Try it for variety.

doin em with dumbells both arms at same time is cool too!

I do them about parallel to the floor with a arch up to my head. The only thing I noticed is people who use less of an angle is they tend to end up doing basicly shoulder shrugs and aren't working their backs. If you do it with the right form 45 degrees will work.

i did them while standing on a platform the other day. i could feel an intense stretch in my midback, nice...

i do mine with a slight angle in my back but i agree with creepus about people end up doing shrugs when doing them with less of an angle

Thanks, that what I thought the feeling was but I was looking at the training vault vids and they are not. Just wanted to be sure.

you can alternate both types, a heavier, more upright row with some hip drive (tbar, yates) and a strict row (prone, pendlay).. best of both worlds
