Batman Begins = Best movie Ive seen in a long ass time

I saw it last night.. fuckin awesome. I still like the Burton films but this was a more accurate portrayal of Batman.

I did stay till the end, but will they really make another BM vs. Joker?

Willl they get Jack Nicholson to play the Joker again. Nobody could do it better than him. He was the perfect joker.

Jacks too old I'm sure they will do a good job with it though and stick to the comic portrayal of joker too

I went it with no expectations cause i read some negative critics' reviews. For a comic book movie, it was pretty good.
Katie Holmes didn't suck as bad as I expected.... but she wasn't good. Whose bright idea was it to cast her? Not as bad as Kirsten Dunst, but it takes talent to be THAT bad.
Christian Bale was good... shit I've liked that guy since American Psycho. The weight change, well he looked a little bigger than the average guy but not extra big or extra cut. His face showed the most difference.. you can see the weight change during the movie at different stages of his life.
Like most people, Tim Burton's version was the definitive one.. it restarted the franchise superhero movie genre and spawned several cartoons and comics. He reinvented Batman's scene. Nolan's Batman wasn't as "gothic", definitely more grounded in reality, but it worked well for this movie. His Batman is DEFINITELY the better character, partly because we sympathize with the man's motivation. It's not all about setting up villianous plots and wacky characters like the last 3.
Good dialogue. Fight scenes were hard to follow but they had the same "swirling bats" effect as the rest of the movie so they worked for me. The Tumbler was the only weak point, but it's more about how the car operates than the concept itself.
Michael Caine as the butler, predictable. Gary Oldman as a good cop, sorry, but he's best when he's evil, he didn't come across strongly enough. Liam Neeson, he can play the wise guru/trainer in his sleep by now. Morgan Freeman as Lucius, excellent!

overall, well worth watching and buying on DVD... next to Matrix, LOTR, XMen and Spiderman.

The first batman is the king. I haven't seen this one, but it will have to be pretty special to compete with the first one. That cast, that batmobile, the batwing, the cinematography; awesome.

This movie makes the first one look like boiled ass. I am sorry, I can not respect a Batman with fucking jowls and neck fat. Keaton sucked ass.... I don't care what anyone says. I would have like to have seen Keaton with his shirt off....lmao! To be fair, The first Batman was cool in a cartoonish way, but this movie is realistically plausible.

Bale is the best Batman I have seen. This movie kicked ass and unlike all the other fucking dumbass movies, they did not kill off all the villians. The cool thing about this movie is the way everything unfolds, you can believe that a man can undertake this and actually do it successfully. Can't wait to see the sequels.
