just have to vent.....im doing a class at the local university (want to get into something...might go back to uni...) and i handed something in 4 weeks late....the bastard scrawny virgin lecturer decided to deduct 40% of the mark!!! bringing my 90% score down to 50%!!!! aaaaaaargh i could bite someone!!!

the damn thing wouldnt have been late if there were more than 3 copies of the damn book for 15 people to share!!!!!

i swear if i could sneak into his office id put a laxative in his coffee

you're lucky, at my uni they knock off 10% per day of late work

journals. cant buy them. you need all 9 journals and most of them were still out 3 weeks after the due date. its bullshit

sigweed: my last uni was prestegious (lol, imo) and they were true bastards. you miss the date, you lose the lot. especially opinionated people like me (i cant suck up to save my life. lie and manipulate, sure, but suck up? no way)

With the wonder of the internet, can't you find a place that has the journal copies? Like a local library? Or even the online library of another major university? My school has all journals online, as does my local libraries.

anyway these articles are very specific, were done locally, and i dont know if they were even published in anything decent enough to warrant storing online

the university was supposed to have them online but it apparently "wasnt working" and the lecturer just didnt give a shit. if he wanted to, he could have made a cd rom...heck its only 15 people for goodness sakes

anyway, i passed, its over, im having a coffee, they can all go to hell. grade point average is going to shit, but screw it, worse case scenario is that one degree will have to be enough
