Basic Corvette 2007 $$$

fuck i wouldnt pay 95000 for a vette, there a dime a dozen now.

$45,000 for the base. $53,000 for the convertible. Can you guys in Canada buy a car in the US and not pay taxes on it bringing it back to Canada? Doubt you can but where I live the sales tax on a car is limited to $300.

Well Im the "Corvette Guy" so to answer your question you can find a basic 2007 Coupe with Z51 for under $45,000. Convertibles are about $52,000 and Z06s are around $69,000 to around $74,000. Anymore questions and I will be happy to answer.

you have to pay 6% of the canadian value of the car at the border

That's better than 14%. In South Carolina the sales tax is limited to $300 and even with the exchange rate the corvettes are cheaper here. You might want to check into a car buying trip. Bring a chick or wife and make a vacation out of it.

$65 000 and $90 000 in MTL. No way I'd pay $90k for a Vette, I'd rather get a Cayman S, RS4 or M3 instead. But since it's GM you could always get a good deal.

def a caddy is worth it. i like vehicles that look mean nothing euro looks mean to me except the high end cars like ferrari and lambo, BMW looks like another car on the street to me. no appeal at all. the vette is a good lookin car also, thats me though i like cars for looks not comfortability

Bought a Z06 had a 750 HP motor built before I drove it. The car was 75 the engine was another 18. Was still a plastic car. The salesman talked me into going to a Corvette Club thing. They had it a at Denny's.... I took a stripper with her attributes showing. The vette died half way there. Had to go pick up my other car to attend the meeting (which cost 75 bucks @ a denny's pleeeeze)
Everyone there stared at my date, some guy asked if I had a "Vette" I said yeah, but it was in the shop. He said.... So is that your nissan there AND YOU ALWAYS WANTED A VETTE? I said no that's my black car next to the taxi yellow "vette" he said.. Is that a kit car? I said nope just an everyday real car from Italy 355F1.. I learned then people that have corvettes are usually assholes with fat wives and little dicks and have comb overs. But hey that is in Dallas, LA and everyplace else I have ever been. I only have limited experience, so sorry if I ruffled any feathers or comb overs. Kinda like buying a porsche station van or another soccer mom vehicle...

LOL Pretty much.

When we were in Hot Springs in April it was the same week they had some sorta Corvette club meet-up. OMG... every Vette owner fit the cliche description. :worried:

I think it's just the owners who get excited enough to drive elevendy hundred miles to a car meet that fit the cliche. My dad, a hispanic engineer, owns a ZR1 and he wouldnt drive the other side of Atlanta for a meet. He did put his 69 Z-28 on a carrier to transport it to a meet once though.

So he isn't into Aqua Velva then? ;)

Damn, I knew I left out a few things, and I also forgot black spandex on the fat old women, the corvette watches, belts, jackets, t-shirts, hats, corvette tmedals on the gold chains, lic playe frames that say "My other car is a Vette", corvette stickers in the windows of a corvette and the corvette car cover when they take their car to the store to buy milk, which is almost all that will fit in the thing. And of course the corvette emblem over the fireplace above the corvette rug in the "family room"

I did say corvette owners usually are assholes? Well I proved that when I bought one! Plus I don't think I will ever get one of those family sport suv's that the kids sit in back... Wasn't a Porsche supposed to be for going fast?

Well cars are cars, I don't even own one... But I do go to the drive up window in a natural gas vehicle that costs 275k! And I don't even have to drive. The stopping at every corner is what gets annoying though.

well since always had a charger close by, the black and tan italian car always started, didn't always run for a long time but it started...

Now the 2 door chevy, once they touch the factory engine, all the computer crap that makes a station wagon engine or a truck engine run..... Well kinda stops moving and hardly ever runs in any traffic less than 50 mph.

small blocks suck after i owned a Viper. Big blocks just have so much torque

The viper overheated and the only thing that was good about driving it was watching the boobies bounce on a smooth road. Was the most uncomfortable car I bought without driving it. But, sounded pretty cool in the driveway. Now tell me this, where can you drive in 5th anyplace in kanuda?

i had a vette and i find the viper way more comfortable and the handling makes a vette look sick. even with 600hp i had in my vette the viper eats it with torque and this is the reason i switched to a viper and a vette are a dime a dozen nowadays. they might as well sell them as low price as a mustang. i have never heard anything about overheating either. all ive heard of the new vettes is the roofs flying off lolollol.

i hit every gear what the hell are you talking about?????? no i have a fuckin snowplow on the front of my car
