Bases on physical appearance

How would you rate yourself? I have been asking people in my gym how they would rate themselves on a scale of 1-10 based on physical appearance and they seem to rate themselves a lot higher than what I would give them.


also if you can, please explain why you rated yourself as such.
 
if I was below 10% and had a tan, I'd think myself to be a 9 maybe....for now, i'll say an 8....because I am neither of those things at the moment.
 
If possible can I see some close up of your face and body if you rate yourself 8 or higher because to me that = very good looking

There's a face pic in my gallery and body pics on the training board that I posted the other day.
 
FFOS, just relate your gym to this board. Women and men are more apt to giving themselves higher scores on a board such as this one because it's their self-serving bias, so subtract one point for every answer given :)

I will rate myself in the 7 range. Here's a short list of why I think so:

Pros: Even face structure, hair cut matches face structure, squared jawline, body is in good shape


Cons: about "average, mediocre" height, teeth are not vibrant colored, no great musclemass
 
I'm a 7. For my age, maybe .5 higher or so.

Depends on work load, tan, exercise regime, day.

If a chick digs tall guys though............I'm a hottie.

I look important, women tend to be interested until they see my bank statement. Seriously.............you should see the bank tellers. Their face always falls when they see my balance which is frequently negative.

I have decent cash flow but want so many things that I spend money like a drunken sailor.
 
7.5-8....9 if my nose didnt dwarf the rest of my face and if i was 2 inches taller.

I used to get the "exotic look" comments all the time...but then i moved to miami.
high cheekbones, prominent jawline, thick shapely eyebrows,a ton of fashion sense,dark hair and a good tan.

oh, and monster traps.

if i don't take of myself/maintain myself for a few days i turn into about a 5. damn being hairy

well, i don't have platinum and many of us do not, so let's see some real good close ups, no make up is preferred. :p

Some days are better than others.
Hell some months are better than others.

As for the 10's out there - way too much work and never for the right people.

Therein lies the problem of most women (or men).


Have you seen some celebs without makeup? Celebs such as Britney Spears and Christina Aguelara rank in the 9's and 10's in the eyes of most people, but take that makeup off, and that 9 or 10 turns into a 5-6! :mix:

thats with any girl, really...most girls look terrible without makeup. thats how you can tell true beauty. if they look good when they wake up in the morning then there's no question
 
I can be a 7 on a bad day I think... generally to do with water retention most of all.

bad comparison...beauty is relative. those people always have that certain model look which is not always neccesarily good looking. its more of facial body/structure type deal. Plus with all the lighting and what not...trust me. if you ever met these people in person you'd be like wtf?
i know a few models and they barely resemble the person they are in shoots.

granted, alot of those people in those ads ARE good looking but its safe to say they represent a very very very small # of people. you'll only find people who like that in europe (european look is heavily favored in the modeling industry), and south beach, and maybe certain parts of NYC. Sorry LA....plastic surgery doesn't count.

i think we're also forgetting where you live plays a big factor in how attractive you are. if you're in a place with lots of attractive people your score will go down. When i lived up north i could say i was a 9...then i moved down here and its hard to hold your own in a place like south beach. dropped to a 7 lol

yes, i have and i think most celebs are ugly. i was talking to that 18 year old hot chic at the gym today; she was wearing no make up and i even asked her to make sure and brother she is still very nice to look at. in fact, i would prefer she didn't wear any, maybe some very light lipstick.

i have seen guys and gals that are right up there in matching the looks of the people you see in those ads. i even ask others to confirm it.

thats irrelevant...you can still be a 9-10 without having that look. It's really about whatever works for you. Some guys do well with the pretty boy look, some pull off the rugged look...etc. Some girls have such good faces that they can have a flat ass and no tits and still be a 9-10. Yet some girls have an 8-9 face and unreal curves which makes them a 10. so i like i said...everything is relative

btw i have a very similar look to what you mentioned..or at least did when i was really skinny..and i can tell you from experience its not the way to guage beauty. there were many girls that found my attractive and plenty who didn't.

thats only what modern american culture dictates beauty should be.
 
i am not a 10 but have never set my eyes on a chick that I couldn't get... to all of you that think your looks will prevent you from dating a certain girl... rethink your strategy. As long as you are not "ugly" you can pull anything u try to.

very true.....wish i could give you k but i need to spread it around again. After a certain point being good looking only makes things easier. For the most part, you just have to be good looking enough and make the best of what you have. I was a very good looking kid in my senior year of high school...yet it took me till about 5 months into school to figure out that most girls wanted a piece.So what did i do for those first 4 months? stood around and look pretty and got with 1, maybe 2 girls. Game is the key. Girls care about looks but if you incite attraction via challenge and humor you're golden. money helps too ;)
 
And let me tell you from experience, looks with a closed-off personality wont be that effective either....personality is very important.

i never said that you couldn't be 9-10 without that look. i used it as a general guideline since most people will generally accept them as being very good looking otherwise it would be a very poor marketing strategy.
 
I need another 6 months of cardio and lifting....so, right now I would say 6.5-7. Girls say I am a hottie, but I think I can do a lot better.

Now, if this would have been posted 6 months ago....I would have been a 4....but, thankfully I have lost 30lbs.
 
Not a pretty boy. Wish I was. Sigh. Pure physical alone: 6-8, depending on the day. Goes up if a woman likes the "brute" sort of look.
 
in all honesty, i think i am a 9...if i ditch the fag glasses, and this pic was about 7 months ago, and i have a new hair cut...its the medium lenght spikey look, with a fade on the sides...if anyone disagrees, let me know-il post a pic on the next post...but a lot has to do with the confidence and aura i give off
 
well, face is an 8.5, body is a 0.5.

It was dark last night and a light was on in another room and my shadow was on the wall. I was looking at it and wondering - what in the fuck is that? It was my stomach. I have an alien stomach. BooHooHoo . . .
 
Depends on what I am wearing


Face is probably an 8.5

Body - at the moment about a 7

there was some scientific internet experimnet whereby surfers rated faces or somesuch..bottom line conclusion was that the most attractive faces were the most average faces,i.e. the most attractive people have less flaws and/or are flawless..got a big nose? you're out,got small unfull lips,strike out,big ears...out of the running..bad complexion,have a seat in the back..unibrow?..see ya later
