OK so is this stuff as good as it seems to me? I was reading the label at the store and this seemed like a pretty good alternative to regular pasta so I bought some. Let me tell you this stuff tastes GREAT! It tastes like regular pasta but better with no diety or fake taste so many things do today. Here is what the labels says it is made of and contains.
Serving size 2 oz
Total fat 1 gram - 2%
NO sat or trans fat.
NO Cholesterol
25 milligrams of sodium - 1%
Carbs - 38 Grams 4 from fiber and 1 gram from sugar.
Protein 10Grams - 17%
360 Milligrams of Omega 3's
Then it has a good dose of vit c, iron, calcium, ribflavin, folate, niacin, and thiamin.
It is made from - Semolina, a grain and legume blend of lentils, chick peas, oats, spelt, barely, egg whites, ground flaxseeds, and wheat fiber.
I may be all excited about what you all already use, but it seems to be new to the market (or it says it on the box anyways) and I just love this crap because carbs are my weakness. If you have not yet you should try this.
