K boy's and girls I have yet another question

When is the best time to do your active recovery work in your opinion?

For example let's say you worked Tri's and Sholders on Tuesday and Legs on Wednesday
Do you do you active recovery work for your Tri's and Sholders before your legs workout or after..... or it doesn't matter.

Thanks CC :D

I don't think it matters a whole lot. I do AR the day after bench sometimes, and the day before bench other times, same thing goes for squats/deads. Just depends upon how things work out.

B.

I would do the AR work after your main training session.

What does your current routine look like at the moment?

Yeah...send me your split as well as how you are using your bands for active recovery...very interested.

Circuit training?

Ugh.

Very hard to plan specific band use for recovery when you will have to use them to train the whole body all at once. If you insist on doing this you should lift in the morning, and do your recovery workouts in the evening. You could do some very light recovery work the next day, but only a couple of exercises and very light, as well as limited in duration.

Yes, listen to Arioch. You follow the biggest, sweatiest man you can find into that little room in the back corner without any padding, and HIT IT. :)

OK, apparently I have warped your fragile little mind. :lmao:

I am telling our dear CC to skip right past all that pretty padded equipment, and head straight to the free weight room.

Ohhhh...SHOOT!!! Well...just hoping that Night Fly would take it the same way I did. :)

Huh

K im confused LOL ummmm.... hummm it's so funny I actually had somebody ask me if I would tie him up with my bands LOL to funny....
I just changed my program Im doing Circuit Training for a little while then go back to my usual routein.

But I have been doing light active recovery work since I am not lifting much.

So Circuit Training in the am and active recovery in the pm??

If you insist on circuit training, yes.

I think a better idea is to focus on a particular lift or bodypart. IMO, the greatest failure in circuit training is the lack of focus.
