Banners at top of Forums???

I post alot on the Elite Between the sheets forum and do alot online between classes in the computer labs, and hate the damn banners. I don't want people walking by to think I'm looking at porn. How can you disable them???

isn't there some option like disabling active x that will disable banners? Otherwise I think some popup blockers will turn them off
