band therapy

what about external rotations?

that's kool...just that i've heard band therapy mentioned in some workouts and just wanted to know what they consist of...especially since some do them for the rotator cuff. tb

brute, are they in pain all the time? I mean are you looking to rehab or build strength, or what? I ask because the bands can be pretty brutal. I had better luck working with light plates and dbs during rehab, and adding bands in later when I had more joint stability.

i doesnt hurt all the time just during the "overhead" movments. tb

Does it hurt at the lockout, or bottom, middle? Does it pop or grind? When you fail does it tend to go forward or back?

Is there a continual increase in pain as you move your arm above shoulder level? Which resisted movements elicit pain? (i.e. internal and/or external rotation, flexion and/or extension?) The answer to these questions will tell you a lot about the nature of your injury. To soon to tell, but it sounds like you might have shoulder impingement rather than a rotator cuff lesion.

well..i doesn't hurt when i move my arm above shoulder level. it would be external rotation that caused the pain. tb
