Bambi, Evanessence and video games

A high ranking gaming exec recently gave a speech at DICE conference and showed the following clip. His point was that emotional alliances and triggers are what differentiate video games and what, ultimately, draws audiences to them.

Hellooooo......who stole the Killah we all have grown accustomed to??

Also, I'm Naziing the connection here...about the emotional alliance/triggers attributed to videogames through this clip. As far as differentiate does he mean from mainly movies? I can see how people can get drawn into a videogame more than a movie through an association with the characters, but I didn't see a health bar under Bambi?

I'm a dumbass here hey......

Enlighten me because I want to understand this. I consider myself a gamer.

Fuck.... I couldn't make it through 10 seconds of that Effervesent crap. I hope they die in a plane crash. Was that the point of the video?

I was expecting you in this thread.

lol at health bar under bambi, lololol. The point of the clip was more of an overarching one targeted at entertainment arts in general (which includes gaming, obviously)

Too bad Ubisoft doesn't hold rights to Squaresoft media because he could've sealed the deal with practically any Final Fantasy footage from #7 onward. 8 was about as emotional as anything on a screen can get.

And....motherfucksicles he's working on Far Cry 2?? I hold this man's opinions in high esteem.

Ya when bambi's mom got shot I yelled GLITCH! NO WAY YOU COULD HIT A FUCKIN HEADSHOT FROM THERE!
