Well, yeah, even I wouldn't argue that bush in the same league as Stalin or Hitler. They were some crazy fucks. Bush wants to kill everyone except his own people. Stalin and Hitler really didn't care where you lived...lol.
the highest body counts in modern usa history have been under democratic presidents.
fdr, jfk, lbj
not saying things would've been different with a rep running the show, but food for thought

the thing about hitler that fascinates me, is his persuasive power... he was a political genius... a total wac narcissist, but a genius in persuading people... don't admire the guy who used the failure of the weimar republic, along with mythic stories about the aryans... which he totally misunderstood, to justify the killing of millions of people, however what intrigues me is the dude had to have understood or an innate ability to move people beyond the content of his words... studying social epidemics, this has to be the worst one in the history of the world. Again, I'm not a historian or even expert on Hitler, so I really don't know, but yeah, dude was bad news on an epic scale.

hitler had the perfect stew to foster his rabid fans
a dismal economy, a disgruntled populace, a common enemy.
without these factors i doubt he coulda reached prominence
in desperate times the fanatic always sounds more appealing

+1
I really can't argue with that...
Absolutely true about desperation and the movement towards a revolutionary message...
