baking gear

I some of you guys can tell me if I did this good, I decide to bake the gear with the vial,I placed the gear and vial in owen and baked it on 200 degrees for 40 min,stick open pin in stooper for ventil,the only thing that woories me that stopper started to smell,do you think that gear is sterile after this?

why would you bake gear that is sterile already...if you had any questions about it...you shouldnt be using it

If it wasn't sterile before you baked it it still isn't sterileand it might have some contamination from the off gassing rubber stopper. But Hey shoot it in you ass and see if you can still sit down.

I am going to throw away gear and in that way it will be 100% sterile for me.
