Baking gear

mt

New member
I brew my own gear and recently deviated a bit from my usual procedure for Test enanthate. After filtering I usually bake at 250 degrees for about twenty minutes. Because I used a different type of filter this time (Titan) I had a little less confidence in it's sterility. This time I baked at 250 degrees for fifteen minutes and then increased the temp to 300 degrees for another ten minutes. When I took it out of the oven instead of the light honey colored nectar I usually get this one came out a dark brown copper color. I used the exact same oil and exact same product (even from the same package) as before. Did I over cook it? Is it still good? It's ten grams of test and I'd hate to see it go to waste.

I've always heard the color can be from golden brown, to a dark brown after baking..... Both are Ok....

I'm just concerned because despite using the exact same gear and the exact same oil the difference was so dramatic. The first one was a light honey color and the second a dark brown copper color. It's hard to believe that 50 degrees can have such an effect.
