Baffled, cypionate stopped working mid-cycle

question619

New member
I have a very different situation I need help with. I was prescribed cyp at 400mg bi-weekly for low t . My levels were 586 and 12.1 . Did I really need it? Probably not! Anyways, the pharmacy messed up and gave me 10ml vials so I started a cycle of 200mg twice weekly. After about 6 weeks I began to feel very weak, tired, unmotivated, not making gains, etc. I thought that my estrogen went high so I started arimidex at 1mg eod and nothing, ran it at 1mg Ed and no change. I pinned 200mg on thurs. as scheduled and nothing so I pinned 200 more on fri. and nothing. It's almost as if my body is eating the cyp and I am not benefiting from it. It was great for the first 5-6 weeks of the cycle but now I don't seem to be responding to it. The cyp is sraight from the pharmacy so i know the gear is good. There are no signs of gyno, sore nips or anything! Please help with any ideas!!!!

why not call up your doctor and see what he has to say? i don't know what is going on here, your levels were fantastic, no reason for you to go on HRT and suppress yourself.

i'm as baffled as you are. what kind of doctor was this? and then the pharmacy screws up themselves? you could sue both of them for malpractice.

I have called the dr. and he wants bloodwork to be done. I was hoping for a solution without going into the office. Is it possible that something is binding to the test. rendering it useless?

^^^ yeah seems like you are getting yourself into a major bind here. the doc is gonna run bloodwork and then screw with your hormones some more. this is a good reason I buy my own stuff and my own bloodwork gets interpreted by me.

why did he put you on test to begin with? and what kind of doctor is this?

i can already tell you what will happen next.. bloodwork will be done.. and he will put you on some other drugs which will further give you sides, then you will be in much more deeper.

That's what I am afraid of, I am also nervous about having my script for cyp. pulled too. I have kinda felt like I have been going thru pct the past couple weeks if that makes sense.

Sorry wasn't trying to avoid the questions. He is nothing more than my family doctor who is a general practioner. He put me on the test because I went to him because I was tired, depressed, etc. He did not prescribe 400 he prescribed 200 weekly and I upped it due to the surplus the pharmacy inadvertently gave me. Nothing fishy, just got lucky I guess.

Ohhh I may have mis read that. That's makes more sense although your test levels are perfectly healthy in then500 range! I don't really know what to suggest I think most docs are all quacks anyways who will just push pills down your throat. I hate going to the doc and usually self medicate lol.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

How is your diet? Sleep schedule? Any stress factors in your
Life such as work/ relationships .. There are so many things that can contribute to lethargy. If you have no gyno symptoms I would back off your arimidex to a lower dose as that can cause lethargy in its own way. Have you gained a fair amount of weight this first 6 weeks ? If I bulk too fast I feel like poo and am lazy, good HIIT cardio session usually helps me get energetic again.

Diet and sleep are good. I do have some stresses that came about the same time this started but man I felt soooo good the first part of the cycle now it's all gone. Can't gain a lb. no matter what I do. I gained 10 lbs and trimmed 2% off body fat down to about 14%. I am moody as f### have zero patience for anything, not feeling a pump at the gym anymore, and weights are slipping. Its seriously as if my body is eating the test before it gets into my system.

k now I understand, wish you would of said this to begin with.

rustilldown is hitting the nail on the head but I will go a step further and say that you have underlying problems, when you went on the test you felt great at first but once the blood levels reached peak levels your old problems came back.

the bottom line is you merely replaced your existing testosterone which was very very good. with replacement testosterone, so you are pretty much back to square 1 here.. in actuality at those dosages your test levels are gonna be sky high. this can actually create new problems for you. insomnia, high bp, aggression, etc. so now when the doc does new tests he is gonna try and cherry pick your results and this can be bad because of the dosages you are running.. in fact you will probably come in with some kidney strain and he will want to check your kidney's next, so really you should not have run those high dosages without informing him.

i would get off the test and run a PCT. and stay the hell away from this doctor.

and then i would find out why you are having your problems.. as rust said it can be due to stress, poor diet, lifestyle choices, drinking, not enough exercise, not feeling confident etc. pumping yourself full of testosterone won't make these underlying problems go away. your issues are definately not testosterone related with those numbers. i still can't believe this doc put you on HRT with those numbers, bet there are thousands of guys going on HRT for life when its totally not necessary.

and in conclusion once you find out your issues you should consider some natural supplements.. there are plenty out there that will help with feeling lethargic, also DIET DIET DIET.. a simple change of diet can fix many problems with the way you feel.

To be totally honest I didn't really have any issues when I went in to see him. Those were my excuses for getting a script. I don't drink so alcohol isn't it.

Yeah that sounds like a hormonal imbalance, I am no doctor either so I can't really offer any solid advice. I know that relationship stress really killed a good part of my last cycle, where I was feeling fantastic at first. Once the stress was gone everything was great again and I'm still gaining in pct. you ever consider lowering your dose ? Or even just stop if problems continue to persist.? Run a pct and re evaluate?

Everyone is probably right, I need to stop and run pct. I was really hoping to find a fix for the problem and continue on with the cycle. Thank you all for your insight.

Would you say it would be best to adjust the cyp and adex dose or stop, run pct and re-evaluate? If you would adjust doses what would you adjust to? Right now I am running 200mg of cyp on Sunday's and thurs. As of recently 1mg of adex every day.

I was looking over the journal I started in the beginning and i took 1mg of arimidex when my nips started hurting one night. Could this have been to large of a dose and totally suppressed my estrogen?

bro in the future when you start a thread don't keep changing what you are saying to us.. just come out and give info that is honest to begin with. and also you shouldn't lie to your doctor like that, sounds pretty silly to me.

you have me totally confused bigtime. so you were totally fine before going on test, and now you feel like shit.. well then it sounds to me like you should get off test and just go back to how you were before.

doesn't take a genius to figure your problem out

Ya, you're right doesn't take a genius to figure that out. As for lying to my Dr. you're right about that too I guess it's more ethical to buy it from UGL's and run the risk of underdosed dirty gear. Wait....maybe it's better for me to order it from overseas and getting wrapped with DEA. I went about getting my gear in the safest most ethical fashion. There is no need to put me on blast because you have to resort to one of the alternative methods of procurement. If anyone has information that may help my situation I am all ears

Steve was being straight up man. If you cant handle his advice which is spot on and your looking to only hear what you want to hear then you have wasted your time posting. He wasn't trying to be smart just saying it how it is.

I think the problem truly lies within this site. I have poured over many threads on here and when someone doesn't have the answer to something they invariably come up with some smarta## response or and attempt to make the poster look like an idiot. Why is it that the mods on here have it in their heads that they are the only ones smart enough, old enough, experienced enough, train enough, and eat enough to be on gear? I seriously wonder why people including myself keep coming back here to read the same b.s.

You started test after lying to your doc, take 400 mgs a week feel like shit and we give you advice to stop. It's pretty simple , you added something and now you do not feel its living up to its expectation so you should stop, dont blame the site for not getting the answers you wished to hear.

I already conceded that you are correct about stopping, starting pct and re-evaluating. However, there is still an issue that exists. I feel very confident that there are many somebody elses who have or are experiencing what I am. Wouldn't it be most helpful to all to find out what the problem is and post about it or discuss it a little more try some different things? As far as you being upset about lying to the doc I see that as a non issue I am confident he knew what I was up to and knew I would do it with or without him so he figured it would be best make sure I did the healthy, safe, and legal way. Come on man, what kind of a doc gives scripts for test with a level of nearly 600? He knew what I was up to. With that being said I am truly open to hearing some constructive advice, I am certain that there is more experience within this site than in any GP office or ENDO for that matter. This is the reason I am here posting and haven't went back to the doc yet.

Are you running any support supps? 400mg test a week isn't really hard on the body compared to some other substances but it wouldn't hurt to try, there are so many things like we stated that could be causing these feelings and it's hard to pinpoint something.

I am using promasil powder, hyper fx pre- workout, gnc multi- vitamin, fish oil, b-12, creatine and various types of protein bars. Nothing out of the ordinary. Is there anything within the body that can bind to the test rendering it useless? It truly feels like the test isn't making it into my system and I have been going thru pct.

It's so hard to say without bloodwork. You could have a bug/slight sickness, you could be throwing chemicals off in your brain making you feel bad and maybe even paranoid that your body is eating the testosterone before it gets into you. I'm not insulting or anything, just throwing a couple ideas out. But it's hard to give anything but ideas without blood work. Maybe order an online test if you can't see your doctor soon or if he won't share the results.

High androgen, prolactin, and transcortin levels decrease SHBG, while high GH, estrogen, and thyro levels increase it. SHBG binds to testosterone. This is where you have total testosterone levels, and free testosterone levels. The free test isn't bound.

Have you kept your test stored properly? Anything out of the ordinary happened to it?

it is clear from your posts that you do not have a clue as to how to run a cycle---so somehow it's the Mods' fault? Just because you don't get the answer you want does not make it wrong --it means you are too arrogant to accept honest advice--where does this sense of entitlement come from? you are not even a platinum member--you just want free answers (that support what you want too do not honest answers)---buy a book and learn something and keeps your utterly worthless commentary to yourself.

you wonder why you do not get a lot of responses? b/c older experienced bros like me add you to the "pay no mind" list--as it's not worth the time to answer a question if you are going to complain about the answer.

How old ru really? 15?
