Have you ever seen professional ads with bad spelling? I've seen a few and it's just silly. They spend all that money on the printing and production and don't double check their spelling.
Here are some that I've seen.
Silk soy milk. On the outside of the vanilla flavored carton the print says, "Vainilla"
At a expensive high end Chinese restaurant called New Capital Seafood the engraving on the wood board near the entrance said, "New Catipal Seafood".
A print advertisement I received in the mail inviting me to a get rich through real estate seminar said in big red bold print, "Your invited to get rich!"
Bad spelling in chat logs or instant messaging is fine with me. Infact I don't even care if it's in college papers. But when it comes to professional print advertisement or manufactured items targeted at consumers that is when I draw the line. If a company like Silk soy milk can't even double check their spelling on the front of carton then how can I trust their product?
