BAd Pin

So I pull out my little stash box from the cupboard and open it as I sit down on my bed. I start scratching around to look for my measuring tape (being Monday and all) and can't seem to find it. Now, if I know I put something in a specific place and then look for it there without finding it, I get very agitated. Anywho ... so I am unable to find it and decide, being Mon and all, that I need to pin my 250mg of Cyp. Today is right quad, Thu is left. Last week it was right glute, and then left. So I sit my ass down on the bed, extend my leg and have the quads relaxed fully. I swab, and swab again. Get the vial, draw my cc, swap needles to my 20g pinning size, quickly swab again, wait for it to dry and start pushing the needle through the skin and muscle ... next thing, HOLY SHIT ... it hurts like a b*itch for about 3 seconds and then, as I push through and push the needle it's full 1.5" in, it subsides.

Now I'm sitting there thinking what that was ... NEVER felt that before, and I have caught the sciatic before ... this was not it.I aspirate (but, as usual, being Cyp, you end up drawing air past the back part of the syringe's plunger and nothing much through the needle) and start injecting ... slowly, as I am still shook up by that very VERY weird feeling I experienced just now.

As I start slowly pulling out the pin, at the EXACT same place I felt it the first time around, the same weird, kinda painfull sensation shocks through my whole body and I remove the pin quicker than normal, but not by much ... and it BLOOD everywhere ... I lost almost the WHOLE freaking cc I pinned ... and it's spraying all over the wife's white bedding, the cream long-haired rug ... the bedside table ... and I am too freaked out to push down with my finger on the puncture quickly enough ...

So ... ... ... ... it seems that I went THROUGH a vein on my way in, and that is what caused that weird sensation.

Yeap, laundry ... bed covers and rug ... 'SIGH' ... and I'm not allowed to pin anywhere else but the shower from now on

20g is a fair sized pin lol 23 or even 25 should be more than adequate, how come you go for 20s?
Had a similar problem last week, everything went fine but pulled the needle out and blood went all over the place. Thankfully I do it in the bathroom with a clean up kit next to me haha

20g is huge bro. That works for a drawing needle, but I would never pin with it. That just causes a lot of unneeded pain. 23-25g is what I would do

Well ... I just prefer the 20 ... have tried 25 ... takes WAY too long to get the Winny or Cyp through ... so whitced to 23 ... same story. So, one day, I decided to stuff it all and just use the same size 20g I use for drawing to pin with as well (not same needle, same size). Seeing that it draws so nice and easy, I'm sure it would inject better as well. Yeah, it leaves a bigger hole, but I have a LOT less movement of the needle in the muscle tissue as I do not need to press so hard on the plunger to get the gear through the needle. I still pin slowly, but experience a LOT LESS PAIN after the pinning just due to the stability increase.

LOL! Itls sucks big time, 'cause it catches you so off side that you are dmbstruck for a second or two. Well, going forward, I HAVE to pin in the shower ... not even allowed to do it randomnly in the bathroom ... shower, with the sliding doors closed, FULL STOP, she said!

Too long? i use a 25G i stick it in then i grab the needle bet my middle fingers making a fist as i close my fist i inject.

Dunno ... I just battle with the 25 and 23 ... I have too much movement and shakiness when trying to pin ... with the 20G the movement is a lot less as I use a lot less pressure to move the plunger ... to each his own, I suppose

I use a 23 to pin and warm up the liquid by holding the syringe in between my fingers for a few minutes. Goes in nice and quickly.

lol....this happened to me last week, I use a 23g 1.5 in and pin my quads standing up, I figured i hit something but was already buried in there so I just pushed the plunger and when I pulled it out blood shot a good 6inches outta my quad lol...you could see the trail of blood across the carpet it was nasty

I used to warm up my Sus ... Never felt like it with the Cyp, though.
