Bad Hair Day.

I never saw it the other way - but I must admit, when this first opened up, the very first thing that popped into my head was "goth chick"

what gorilla_boy said. i've got a few goth chick fantasies filed away in my brain from all the NIN concerts i've been to. so you should stick with the purple for a while because it also matches the interior of my orange Trans Am. i think HS has an el camino with purple interior as well. fuck we're all pimps up in here.

he's dead right (and dead sexy) my elcamino (as I've said before, rust orange on the outside- but the right hand door is hunter green and primer brown) has purple shag carpetting on the interior.

I used to dye my hair all the time and I am amazed I still have hair.
Hop into the shower and wash your hair with conditioner a few times, get out and put cocconut oil (comes in a tube) in your hair - middle to ends. Wrap in plastic wrap and proceed to hide at home with a towel wrapped over your plastic wrap head.
Try and leave in as long as possible.
This may help your ends out a bit and give the illusion of a slightly darker shade.
You could also trim the ends but I have the feeling you're growing your hair out. (?)
The color wear tone down in a week or so.
Why don't you try out a whole new make-up.
Very little on the eyes and focus on the lips.
A little stroke of an ivory/opal neutral over the lids, then curl your lashes and leave the rest be. Add some gloss or lip stuff and be down. Make it fun.

Thanks for the coconut oil tip - I may give that a try.
I dunno about the makeup, as I am an eye makeup junkie(they know me by name at the MAC counter...lol). It's usually not quite that dark, though. I was at a club.
I am growing my hair out. It was down to my butt, but I cut in in a fit of insanity a few years ago. Argh.

i like the darker hair on you personally... the goth is coming from the black clothes and cross choker so just accessorize a little differently 
and like velv said, do a lips thing... with dark hair that looks FAB

just so you know red always tends to fade much faster than most colors.....red (every shade) is very very popular right now.....just whatever you do.........DO NOT put bleach back over that red to try to get back to the blond color.......know what will happen if you do??? it will quickly become faded to a nice shade of pink!!!!!! what brand of color did you use???? is it permanent or semi permanent? email me if you want to ask me [email protected]
