Back to the gym

Well after taking 7 weeks off due to a shoulder injury im back in the gym... It feels great to be back in the gym, I am sleeping better and more focused on school work....rather than walking around all depressed about shrinking and getting weak.......couple weeks of this current workout and then hopefully i will shift over to the old school workout to gain some nice weight

I hear ya on the being depressed part. I have basically been out of the gym since June due to a shoulder injury (rot cuff) and plan on going back next week. Hopefully I will be 100% by the start of 2004 and then IT IS FUCKING ON!!!

just curious- what type of shoulder injury?
 
I thought i dislocated my right shoulder but dont think that was it.....I was doing shoulder press and i missed the hook while putting the barbell back so it pulled my arm back pretty far.....a guy came over and grabbed the weight, but when i released it, i felt my shoulder pop out and right back in.....my shoulder was irritating me for awhile but actually feels pretty good lately....i can feel it tighten up when i lift so i am trying to take it easy, but other than that it feels great......

I dont have the same motivation as before.....im not big,im still skinny.....started out at 5'11 125lbs, and was 162lbs at biggest but was up to 167lbs as my heaviest......i felt great at 162lbs though....i was benching 195lbs 3 sets of 8, and doing 3 sets of 8 with 85lb dumbells....not as heavy as most people on this board but it far more than i thought i would ever get....best part was i was consistently seeing gains in strength all over my body, then i got hurt......I need about a month to develop the same appetite for food i had before and to develop the motivation and determination i had before.....once my body gets used to the gym i am going to switch over to the old school training method in hopes of packing on some weight
