I'm about to attempt this BS by myself - going to do it in stages... red before brown; Needs to be done. Cross your fingers for no orange or brown.

kthnxbye

nononno dont mess with reds, go straight to light brown or chocolate brown! Reds will haunt you, they are damn near impossible to remove, getting jet blue black off is easier! and they mess with the end result tones of EVERY color you will try..... damn reds....

no no - you can't do it that way; you have to put it back in the way you take it out, so you redeposit the red color first and then put the darker color over. When you bleach your hair, it becomes so very porous that it needs to be filled back in again.

:)

My hands may or may not be reddish brown at the moment. I forgo-ed the plastic gloves on this one. whoops

Filler ftw!
I went from blonde back to brunette last year, and it looked fine, thanks to the filler!

Me and arabian have mad kilz

Kilz is pretty good primer...

it turned out superfantastic BTW (though there is a lot of hair dye in random places all over my bathroom - didn't notice it all last night).

Obviously I could use a tan, but the color looks okay, yeah?

It looks great! I don't have a tan in the winter either. Actually I happen to look better as a blonde w/o the tan, but that's the skin tone I have. I've tried everything so I know what works on me now. lol

Dark Skin plus brunette = SB's Chosen Women

haha Thanks CEO.

Thanks everybody for the positive feedback! It gets expensive to keep blonde hair up, and mine doesn't handle bleach well and I want to keep growing it...

Thank god for photorejuvenation.

There's always risk involved with any of the three types of photorejuvenation, including scarring, facial fat loss, hypopigmentation. I think it's better to avoid the need for future procedures by following simple steps now: avoid tanning, wear sunblock, and use retin-a.

sorry Rach, me and Bluebird often talk about girlie stuff like this  I have to think anti aging now...
