Back Routine

Ripped2Shredds

New member
I've been stockpiling a list of i deas for a new back routine. Looking into building width+thickness. I do have a problem with my right lat is obviously larger then my left when flexing. If you can think of any good ones that work well together that'd help out a lot.

Does your gym have any Freemotion Equipment? If so the Lat Pulldown and Row are great for building symmetry. Also try DB Rows.

gotta have the basics

Deads
Pull ups
Bent over Rows

Yeah this is all you need for direct work. Remember also that if you are lifting heavy in your other bodyparts, then it will also build your back; cleans, OHP, even barbell curls and pullovers...

chins 3x6-10
Hammer Strength high row 3x8-12
Hammer Strength low row 3x8-12
bent rows 3x6-8
deadlifts 4x6-8
rear laterals 5-6x8-15

Deadlifts last because they involve so many muscle groups. I use the other fresh muscles to overload the back....works great for me.
