Are they gonna guarantee you a MOS field?

The Air Force would have, but then again, it is the one I would have been stuck with forever. The way I understand it, the Army will place you based on your requests, your test scores, your performance in OCS and their needs. I'll request an MOS in OCS probably. But there is a greater freedom in moving to a different MOS too. I'd like a combat position initially since I understand that helps with promotions.

I still need to work on my dead hang pull-ups. Running I pulled out an 8 minute mile to my surprise seeing as how I haven't ran in a while.

Less than 5 months to my ship out date. A lot of hard work to do in between then, but I'll be ready for those damn sand fleas. The bites will replace the acne on my back. Gaurenteed MOS of Combat Engineer.

IF I get my package submitted in time (Wed), I'll go before the board around the 17th and know if I've been accepted by the end of the month. Hopefully I'll get a ship date right at the beginning of June. 2 months or so from today.

Decem: hahaha. I'm going to stay away from the BAS as much as possible. I don't want to get dropped, and push my graduation day back. The schedule from the ship out day will have me home for Thanksgiving, then out of MCT before Christmas. Recruiter's assistance keeping me home for New Years and most of January. Then report back to Lejeune for Combat Engineer school. I get dropped then my plans are fucked.

Infantry or something in the helicopter world. I think I prefer Infantry though. Might as well have a go at it while I'm still relatively young.
