I just couldn't face the possibility of getting stuck with a desk job in the Air Force. I know it's a possibility in the Army too, but at least I get to play with grenades some.

Are they gonna guarantee you a MOS field?

The Air Force would have, but then again, it is the one I would have been stuck with forever. The way I understand it, the Army will place you based on your requests, your test scores, your performance in OCS and their needs. I'll request an MOS in OCS probably. But there is a greater freedom in moving to a different MOS too. I'd like a combat position initially since I understand that helps with promotions.
