Drink Plenty of Water sometimes people mistake thirst with hunger and end up eating extra calories when a glass of water was what you really need. Water is the best treatment, not only for losing weight but it‘s beneficial for so many other parts of the body. It flushes out impurities in your skin, lubricates the joints, removes various wasted mineral’s from the body and ensuring proper digestion. Water helps the kidney’s to function properly and can be very good appetite suppressant.
Eat Fruit or Vegetable’s at Every Meal fruits and vegetable’s are a very beneficial tool when trying to lose weight because they are low in calorie’s and high in nutrients. In other words they fill you up, without loading you with all the fat and calories. Study’s show that plant-based food help control cravings and overeating. Green vegetables are most effective in helping you lose weight (spinach, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage and collard greens). Some fruits that will help you lose weight fast (Strawberries, Raspberries and Blueberries). These fruits provide energy, make you feel great and help you burn fat very quickly.
Eat Frequently, Eat Slowly this is an important one. I know a lot of people think crash dieting is the way to go when trying to fit back into your jeans. Believe me I was one. I thought if I only ate one meal a day I would lose weight fast but it didn’t work like that. The problem with skipping meals is it slows down the metabolism in order to conserve energy. When your body is not taking in as much calories as it’s used to then it goes into survival mode and stores the fat rather than burning it. Do not skip meals!!! Especially breakfast…. There’s a reason it’s called the most important meal of the day.
Exercise!!! when trying to lose weight fast it is very important that you exercise regularly. I know, this is basically common sense but most people don’t realize how important exercise is, not only physically but also spiritually and emotionally. Not only do you burn calories when exercising but you continue to burn calories at a higher rate when you are done exercising. Go to the gym 2 or 3 times a week, play basketball with some friends even going for a nice evening stroll is beneficial.
