Back from a long absense

Wrong forum but I just wanted to say hello to everybody that I have become friends with on EF. Been out for a few months after a bad car accident but healing up nicely. Lucky to end up with a broken arm, 2 broken legs and a few broken ribs. Could have been worse after rolling my truck 100 feet down a mountain. My nephew in-law actually escaped with nothing but a black eye.

Holy crap! Consider moving some place flat!

Glad to see ya BTS and very thankful you are ok.
How have you been? I was really messed up for the first month. I actually started to slip out the driver side window on the second or third roll and grabbed the steering wheel to keep for flying out but my right arm was hanging out and got rolled over by the door. Scary shit, thought I was gonna die. I actually knocked over a tree that fell into another tree and my hood landed on that and it stopped us from going further down the mountain. The bottom was about 800 feet or so so we were lucky. My leg breaks were not really that bad but my arm was/is pretty f'ed up. I'll recover pretty much though.

Where were you driving in the Rockies?
I was in the Trinity Alps in Northern Cali. I was actually being a nice guy when it happened. I met another truck coming the other way and he was pulling a big trailer and the road was dirt and only about a lane and a half wide. I backed up to give him room to pass and just got too close to the edge. My truck started sliding sideways down a very steep mountain and I was like "oh F"! Then I could feel the passenger side wheels begin to come off the ground and I was REALLY like "OH F!". Then we start rolling and I just hoped it would stop before the bottom.

Thanks bro. I did say some thankyou's to The Man, no doubt. Been back in the gym for a week now. Feels good but I'm so weak and sore.

Glad to see you are back, and even more importantly doing ok after all that. Hang in there bro. I am sure that your physique helped you out in that wreck. Having a good layer of muscle helps alot.

Nice to meet you.
Holy sht bro! You are a lucky guy. I have rolled a truck, but not multiple times down a mountain..
