yeah, i haven't been posting for a while, but have been training :)

i'd like to report that the first day of the smolov preparatory cycle i did was pretty damn hard, the 3x8. however, it worked like magic, i finished that week with ease, then squatted with 85% triples for the whole second week. i also took the chance to do a lot of work on my snatch technique, and it's all working well. perhaps i will actually start doing some real olympic workouts.

the two week preparatory cycle from smolov is now my secret weapon! the two weeks have improved my conditioning ten fold, and i know this because i did the first day of korte's 3x3 today WITH EASE! and, the weights were percentages of my projected maxes that i increased (+15 bench, +35 squat, +25 deadlift)

anyways tomorrow (hopefully) i will update my journal with all the missed stuff. a lot has been going on with me (girl, grad, finals, etc)

Sounds like a Vodka name :)
