So, I'm pretty sure everyone in our solar system is aware of my backaches these days. (I may have mentioned once or twice) Well, yesterday I buy a Dr's Scholl vibrating chair pad for my back. I put it on a TV pillow and lean back onto it. Not five seconds later, the BABY is kicking like a ninja on crack. I've never felt her kick that hard or that much.

I thought it may just be a coincidence, so I pull the pad out and she quits.

I put it back on my back and she kicks like crazy again.

I do this 3 times. She won't let me use it. It PISSES her OFF! LOL.

you probably scared her. I wouldnt' think the vibrations could be good... especially on your back.... dude it's waterworld in there, probably 10 times more powerful to her, than you and she's gettin a full body, not just her back.

yeah, it must have bothered her. I was really surprised that it vibrated that much all the way in-utero, but it must have. So, I packed it up and put it in the box and in the closet.

I bought it b/c I was sort of worried that the heating pad would raise my core temp too much and get her too hot.

LOL, our daughter did that every time we turned on music in the car or even turned up the TV. Good times, good times :spin:

swimming pools help. like alot.
It isn't warm enough yet here for swimming but next month. My good friend here has a pool at his house that is awesome. It has a 8 foot waterfall and stuff. I'm going to crash it every day...lol.

Heating pads are fine. Unless you are wrapped in one like a snowsuit. Heating pads are localized and actually not that hot. Just don't use it on your belly, lol.

Electric blankets are a bad idea though - since they cover the entire body. But a heating pad - no biggie. In order to REALLY raise your core temp - it would have to be SILLY HOT. I used heting pads and *gasp* even took hot baths when pregnant. Baby did not come out hard boiled.

I had a Jacuzzi so I went in often when I was pregnant with both my kids. I just didn't stay in for over 20 minutes, it really saved my arse, so did my swimming pool.

I take very hot baths too. I've always bathed and showered in such hot water that other people are SHOCKED. I can't stand a tepid bath. I just try to make it quick so that I don't get crazy hot on the inside.

I have even fallen asleep witht he heating pad on my back, though, and then I wake up all worried that I poached the bambino...lol.

She sure HATES the vibrating massage pad, though. It was CRAZY. You could see her feet moving through my shirt.

If you you watch 20-25 kung-fu movies during your pregnancy your baby will have the skills of Bruce Lee ingrained at birth.

Ohhhh...I'm going to watch Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and such and maybe she will be able to fly and walk on water and such.

My wife dropped her keys one time into her lap after getting in the car during the third trimester with my daughter. She said my daughter jumped at the sound of the noise and kicked her square in the cervix so hard it felt like her vagina was going to implode. Don't try that one at home!

That is still my favourite movie of all times. The scene where Zhang Ziyi and Michelle Yeoh fight in the end is awesome.

b0und (I wish I could fly)

Ouch, she hasn't found my cervix to kick it yet, but I have heard that getting kicked there and in the ribs is no fun...lol.
