Babylon 5

I never bought them pre-recorded, I just recorded every episode off the air, first-run. Gotta fast-forward through the commercials. But I've got all five seasons in order, and the movies.
It's getting really friggin nerdy in here lol.......and I'm a nerd. Right on man.

You want nerdy? How about new episodes of Star Trek TOS?

Once you get past the new actors playing familiar roles, these things are actually a lot of fun. The effects are very low budget, but still better than 1966. And there are some writers from the original series involved, as well as Roddenberry's son. Look for guest appearances by some TOS actors too.

Oh, I've also got all of Farscape on tape.

BTW, never got into "Farscape" but I would so hit Claudia Black....

Gotta watch it from the beginning, but it just may be the best of them all.

Dispelling the myth that B5 used Macs for graphics......

Straczynski anticipated the rise of digital television, shooting the series in 16:9 format, rather than the normal 4:3 — six years before ER and many other dramas began doing the same thing. Babylon 5 also revolutionized the use of computer technology (using Amiga-based Video Toasters at first, and later Pentium and DEC Alpha-based systems)

claudia's one of my favorite looking women in the world.........but I just couldn't get into that show. I used to watch Babylon 5, that was pretty good............but I liked the original commander better than boxleitner.
Battlestar is where it's at right now..........best writing in a sci fi series ever imo.

I replaced the ones recorded off tv with the ordered ones. Have all of Farscape recorded and on DVD. And I would hit it with Claudia Black until I was unable to ever hit it again. :p

I also have all of the Highlander tv series. :artist:

Cheers,
Scotsman

No, not Jeff Conaway from TAXI. But he worked with him on the show.
Oddly and I am not making this up- another old roommate ran the card-game operation. I have the cards still that he gave me but I have only seen a few moments of the show here and there over the years.
