Talking with the wife about baby names and we can not agree on any names. We are looking to start a family this summer if God lets us. We both have been throwing names out there but we can not agree. The only one we can agree on is out first born male, he will be named after me. I am the VIII so he will be the IX. (This is if God gives us a boy.)

I joked with her and wanted to name all my kids the same name, like George Foreman.

I want to name then all with the same first letter.

It can me a multi-million home, boat, or a 21 year old female to do the trick.

I like Nicole but an ex is named that and wife will not go for it. Adam is nice but my last name is short so I don't like short first names.

Flipping middle and first names is an easy out, naming after grandparents is convenient, too. Plus, kids like to know WHY you named them what you did. Saying, "You're named after your grandmother, who is my mommy," is like a warm fuzzy.

I wouldn't recommend having names that start with the same first letter. My girls are both A's and I thought it would be cute at the time, but now I kind of wish that I did not. People are always getting their names mixed up because they are so similiar. They both take Tae Kwon Do at the same school and one of the Masters always gets them mixed up.

my son's dad wanted to name his son after himself. I much preferred Bradley Joseph, but I conceded. For a girl I liked Brooke Elizabeth.
this was back in 1998 though. havent thought about it much since then.
