B-12

so oral b12 will not do anything at all or the effects won;t be as profound as injecting? Has anyone actually compared the two?

Expressvetproducts. They also have some freaky injectibles like pure AMP-5 and pure ATP. On the other hand, I just can't see how some of the pastes could even work. Rich horse racers must fall for it.

Also, check out Enerselen. It's basically like kynoselen except it has twice the B12, twice the selenium, ATP instead of AMP (is this good or bad?), and it has uridine triphosphate (not sure what this does). I have no clue which is better, but I'm doing my homework on it.

Kynoselen
Each 100 mL contains disodic adenosine monophosphate 0.2 g, heptaminol hydrochloride 0.5 g, sodium selenite 0.05 g, potassium aspartate 1 g, magnesium aspartate 1.5 g and cyanocobalamin 0.025 g.

Enerselen
Each mL contains adenosine triphosphate 2 mg, uridine triphosphate 1 mg, sodium selenite 1 mg, heptaminol hydrochloride 5 mg, magnesium aspartate 15 mg, potassium aspartate 15 mg, cyanocobalamin 500 microgram.

picked up 2 250ml bottles of bcomplex from valley vet and am gonna run it e3d at 1cc for 1000mcg for e3d. If any one has anything to change, let me know

Mike

It is my understanding that very little oral B12 makes it into the bloodstream. There is now however a sublingual version of B12 that purportedly works well. While I doubt that it works as well as pinning it you might want to try it. Heres a link to the cheapest I found...

Heres a little bit of detail from that site on methycobalamin

Methylcobalamin is a type of Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 comes in several kinds including hydroxy-, cyano-, and adenosyl-, but only the methyl form is also used in the central nervous system. Deficiency states are fairly common and vitamin B12 deficiency mimics many other disease states of a neurological or psychological kind, and it causes anemia. Cyanocobalamin (the cheapest to produce and the kind in most vitamin supplements) is converted by the liver into methylcobalamin but not in therapeutically significant amounts. Vitamin B12 deficiency is caused by a wide range of factors including low gastric acidity (common in older people,) use of acid blockers or excessive laxative use, lack of intrinsic factor, poor aborption from the intestines, lack of Calcium, heavy metal toxicity, or excessive Vitamin B12 degradation.
