B-12 human or vet grade?

v shape

New member
I am about to purchase some vet grade b-12, from experience is there a big difference compared to human grade?

Vet grade is dirt cheap :100ml/1000mcgs for 5.00
human grade :30ml/1000mcgs for 30.00

I getting the vet grade soon. I might not use it right away though. I don't any reason why it shouldn't work out well.

too much!!!

wow that's expensive...in Canada at the pharmacy 30ml of human B-12 is cheaper than your price on the Vet grade...and that's in Canadian $$$.

I haven't had any problems with my vet grade... I have only used vet grade.... never used human grade... but by the looks of it you will be shooting more than you usually would be used to.

Vet is the way to go bro. If it is American Veterinary b-12. then the standards in quality control are pretty strict. Put it this way...if you have no problem using Mexican Vet Roids, then this shouldn't be even an issue.

Also, Vet in the USA is a great place to go for anti-bacterial meds too, such as Tetracycline, Cipro, Biaxin, and Amoxicillin. I've seen Penicillin on some web sites as well. Not to mention those little pellets we all love so much! DIRT cheap!

well, I can skip the going to the doc and get it cheaper than you so it makes sense. It is us vet as well, so I trust it.

I just got vet grade B complex....100ml but it doesnt say mg strength. just says 5-10ml/day for sheep/swine and 10-20ml/day for cattle. any suggestions????

complex is crap - causes too much pain, knotting, and no noticeable improvement over plain B12. Now I only use calvet's B12.

well shit...guess i should thro the complex away

I wouldn't throw it away... what wouldn't work for one person may work for another....you should at least try it...

I use AgriLabs B-Complex Plus and have no problems...

any suggestions on the doasges? the bottle does not state a mg content

not anywhere? most the time it will be 1ml/1000mcg of B-Complex... take 1000mcg a day and you will be fine.

chances are pretty good that ou will NOT be getting 1000mcg of b12 /ml in the bcomplex. Usually the complex is a painfull shot and you can just as easily take a pill. Get the b12 vet grade and you should be good to go.

the complex that I have show to have 1000mcg of b12 along with the other ingredients that make it b-complex. But I know it differs from producer to producer, and since his producer does not label the amounts on his bottle.... this is the closest estimate that he will get without wasting it.

nope i posted all ingrediets on label... but i would guess a complex is basically a complex conetent wise. Ill give it a try and if need be switch to a straight B12. Thanks guys
