Avoiding muscle wastage!

Hi,

I am near the end of my test/deca cycle, and I need a quick advice on something.

I would have to leave on an official trip for 15 days after my last pin of Test E. I have Unleashed & Post cycle on hand.

Since I will be out in a new country, I wont be able to take as good a diet as I am taking now, also the workouts would be compromised.
I figure the good thing would be that since Test would be releasing at that time, It will help me keep away from muscle wastage. Am i correct here, as this is my main concern?

Should I take anything extra to help me from wasting muscle during this 2 week period? (maybe unleashed that I already have)

Any help would be appreciated.

you need to find a way to workout while away. every decent hotel in the world has a gym, also there are gyms all over the place you can buy a 2 week pass. or another option is find a bar and do some pullups and pushups.. dips, you can work your calves easily by stepping on your toes, you can work your upper legs by doing squats or doing chair stands etc. you don't need weights.. also find a wall and do a handstand and press, that will work your shoulders. find some stairs and grab something heavy and haul it up and down the stairs that will rip up your legs. so you have a lot of ways to still work the muscles.

Thanks stevesmi, I know some of these and other methods to work out, but I meant that they'll not be as intense as they are now..

But I needed help on the diet part as per my post.. Like whether using unleashed in the last 3-4 days would be required/beneficial?

well assuming you are using long esters you will be ON those whole 15 days. You should train like you are on and eat like you are on.

Diet is simple if you are motivated. Training is the same. It all depends on how bad you really want it and if you are willing to make the sacrifices necessary.

diet can be as simple as eggs, burgers, chicken, steak and seafood. just no crap. bring some protein bars with you as well.
 
I travel for work occasionally as well and as Steve and Tom eluded to , eat healthy and hit the gym. I usually know my travel itinary the week before and just do 1 week memberships at the closest Golds or gym within driving distance of my hotel. I have been doing this for years and it works. Motivation, eating proper and proper training is all you need.
 
^^^ i agree.

and i love working out in new gyms and new environments.. kinda nice getting away from the same guys all the time who want to talk your ear off. i actually am a beleiver in changing up your gym every few years just for a change of equipment/environment.. it can really pay off. i did this recently and my training has gone to another level
 
trust me when i tell you, if you really want to keep your muscle and all your hard work, you will find a way when you are on vacation... just like my friends here have said, it is actually really sweet to hit different gyms in different places and work out in different environments... no matter where i travel, i always go prepared with the mindset that i am going to kill it no matter what... you can still watch your diet... you may go out to eat more often, just watch what it is that you order... don't start ordering a fried mess of foods and eat as healthy as you possibly can...
 
Thanks for trying to help y'all.. i agree with you guys but I'm sorry i wasnt clearer before..

Its like this- I have come to china to visit exhibitions and fairs, and I cant stay in one city for more than 2-3 days.. (so this rules out gym memberships)

More so, I'm a vegetarian and i relied heavily on eggs, cottage cheese, dairy and whey.. (so this rules out all the steaks).. I'm aware that its foolish to expect muscle growth, or even 100% muscle preservation while on a compromised diet, but I'm trying the best I can. I've carried casein mixed with a little whey from home which I consume in the morning and at night..
Then I made a batch of protein bars at home, which will take care of 1 meal during the day.. so they should last 8-9 days..
Plus I got amino tabs with me, which I try to take 2-3 times a day, whenever I have something to eat/drink.. This is not much but I think it should help me from wasting muscle..

Now, just FYI, had my last pin of Test E on 11th, and I'll be here till 30th of this month..
carried 4 servings of unleashed with me.. Any further help now?

I actually have a similar situation to deal with in August actually. I'm going on vacation for about 6 days to the west coast and it will be the week after my last pin of a 12 week cycle. I'm running long esters so I know I will be fine with the test in my system, but I do still plan on finding somewhere to train while I'm there ;)

the best thing you can do is either just pay the guest fees for a few days at each place you are at or tell them you are new to the area and trying out gyms and they normally will give you a free week pass... =) get creative... :splat:
