average starting pay?

What's the average starting salary for a personal trainer working at a gym with no prior experience? How about benefits? Is there a big difference between private and corporate gyms (like ballys). I know salary is dependent on location, I live in Chicago.

Depends on the Gym and what they charge for the session and if you make money off the session or just an hourly wage....
