Avatar problem

Man can someone help me get a damn picture accepted as my avatar. No matter what I do, it always seems to get rejected. I have changed the size so it meets the requirements; that doesn't work. I have made sure that the file size is small enough; still no go. Anybody know what I am doing wrong?

Yeah, I don't know why that happens. Sometimes you just gotta try a few times in a row.

Try making sure the .jpg or whatever is in lower case letters -- Stilleto says this helps, although I'm not sure why it would.

If you still can't get it after a few tries, you can PM me the avatar image and I can try it for you.

i found the easiet was to go to yahoo and find a pic that fits the size restrictions and use that

Did you find any secret that helped? I really can't figure out why this happens.
