Ducks aren't your typical PAC-10 ten champ.

The PAC-10 was GOD AWFUL this year. Standford was the only other decent team, and it definitely helped them playing all those junk conference games.

2 Pac-10 teams in the top 5. More than any other conf. teehee!

;)

Auburn's secondary is suspect.

The best D's in the SEC could stop them all year though. Sure, they won some close ones and came back on a few teams from a big deficit.

What they did in Tuscaloosa was one of the greatest comebacks I've ever seen in any sport. No other team in the country could have made those adjustments and did what auburn done. Fuck, no other team in the country could win in Tuscaloosa. Even though bama was down this year.

That boy Dyer is a fucking freak too. Especially to be a true freshman. Him and Lattimore are gonna be monsters in a few years.

Look at their out of conference games. Sure, Oregon beat Tennessee's ass and Stanford beat a horrible as usual notre dame team.

Not saying Auburn's out of conference games were any better, they weren't. Look at how strong their conference is though. Ask anyone in the know and I bet 9 out of 10 will agree the SEC west is the toughest division in CFB.

Insert Oregon and Stanford into that mix and each would still have an L or three. Insert Auburn into the Pac 10 and they run the table.

Sure Auburn has a high scoring offense. Almost as high as the Ducks! Auburn D has allowed more points against as well. On paper, Ducks look better. On the field, Ducks have looked better for most of the season. They started playing sloppy towards the end, with an embarrassing close win against Cal (at Cal though), and a messy win by 17 (not close) against Oregon State, but then again Auburn had at least 4 close games, with 3 being against unranked teams at the time.

If Oregon can play like they played the first 3/4 of the season, I really like their chances. If they stay sloppy, Auburn will take advantage.

We can argue statistics and all the other BS until we're blue in the face.

Bottom line,,,, this is the match up I've been wanting to see since midway through the season. It's gonna be a sick ass game.

Btw,,, I called Newton for Heisman in the Auburn/LSU K bookie event thread. Not that it matters any, but I thought I'd point that out ;)

so you're telling me that oregon would have had 3 losses with auburns scedule?? lmaoo u must be kidding ..auburn played every tuff team at home !! every team ..their road games consisted of kentucky, miss st & missippi ..missippi and kentucky suck!!
miss st is decent but not a top 15 school..
they had 1 GREAT win on the road and it was alabama .. auburn had the EASIEST scedule in the Sec by farr or they would have lost also

they came back because bama blew to many chances in the 1st half .. bama should have been up about 35 pts ..3 times inside the 10 yard line and they got 3 pts out of it ... 2 fumbles & field goal ..bama dominated the 1st half
no mistakes and the game was over .. no way auburn was comming back from 35 pts down ..bama had that game won and blew.. they gave auburn a chance to come back and they did
